Project Details:
1. Spread Deviation Request -Decision Tree model
Program – Capital Markets Trading
This project is developed for a Global Bank and its objective is to categorize the clients as a Premium
Client, Standard Client, New Client, Standard and Privileged Client so that the maintenance of the spread
can be donebased on the client type for various financial instruments. This was developed using the
CHAID technique to build a decision tree structure where the outcome is to designate the Client Type as
mentioned above where various input parameters were the Investment Details such as AUM, CNR; region,
Trading behaviour, portfolio performance, Compliance and Regulatory requirements etc. This model was
built based on the Historical data for the past 6 months.

2. Global Exposure Management-Credit Risk
Program – Credit Platform
The objective of this project is to build a decision tree structure where the outcome is to categorize a
client’s collateral into various Classes (A, B, C) so that the appropriate loan amount can be sanctioned.
This model was built using the CHAID technique and the input parameters were the market Values of
Collaterals, Asset Class of the Collaterals, Liquidity Ratio, Demographic region, Currency of the Collateral,
Concentration of the Collateral etc. This model was built based on the history data of a quarter.
Tools used: PL SQL, R-Studio, R. MS Excel.
3. 3. Real-time Risk Analysis:
Program: Risk Treasury and Reporting System
This was a new initiave started by the bank to analyze the Risks associated with Money Market trades
across all the Geographical regions. The outcome of this project was an effective and common data model
compatible with all the source systems. The source systems were having the data feed with different
structure. So, a thorough analysis was done using the concept of Feature Engineering and Principal
Component Analysis to come up with a common data model that will have the minimum required
dimensions to run the analysis for all the downstream systems. During the span of this project feeds from
15 different down streams were on boarded to this system in a period of 2 years in a phased manner.

4. Money Market Profit Attribution Analysis:
Program: Risk Treasury and Reporting System
This project is developed to understand the Factory Sensitivity to assess the book value of the trader using
the Treasury P& L System. The analysis was mainly based on the regression model to understand how the
magnitude of the trade gets impacted due to the change in certain factors like Time Decay, Market Rates,
FX Rates, Intraday deals such as New /Amend/Cancelled trades. At the later stage this model was
automated by the Software Team. Also, post deployment the Result of the Software was analyzed
manually in Excel to validate the accuracy of the application. In this project I was working in collaboration
with the Risk Analyst from the Bank.

5. Business Process Re-engineering Data Governance for EUC Sun setting
Program - Business Process Re-engineering
Business Process Re-engineering was an initiative taken by the business unit to sunset the End User
Controls (Excel macros) . This was done to remove control deficiency, automate the process and process
standardization. There were more than 575 cases where the EUC needed to be removed. The progress of
this process was tracked, maintained and the visual reports were created present in the Governance
Meeting.

4. 6. Document Scanning Centralization
Program - Business Process Re-engineering
The objective of this project was to collect the detail of the scanning activities happening across various
High Cost location of the bank like Zurich, London, Jersey, Geneva etc & present the data in a proper
graphical format so that the Business head can take a decision for Centralization to a common low cost
location. The Outcome was a Visualization Report presenting the volume of the documents scanned in
various locations, the total cost incurred in scanning as per location per year, due to regulatory norms
which location can best suite to be the central location, the cost benefit if the process is centralized. The
data was manually collected from all the centers in collaboration of a team of 2 by having several
interview sessions with the persons involved in scanning. The data was further converted into tabular
format and visualization report was created to present it before the Business Head of the bank to take
further decision. In this project I was leading one person under me at client location.

7. MIFID Best Execution Report
Program - Business Process Re-engineering
The Markets in the Financial Instruments and directives (MiFID) is a European Union law that provides
harmonized regulation for investment services across the 31 member states of the European Economic
Area .MiFID will require that firms take all reasonable steps to obtain the best possible result in the
execution of an order for a client. The best possible result is not limited to execution price but also includes
cost, speed, likelihood of execution and likelihood of settlement and any other factors deemed relevant.
Due to the Compliance and regulatory involvement in this Process, it was required to generate
visualization report combining the Bloomberg and the Banks Internal report to show the adherence to
compliance for various categories. In this project I was leading one person under me at client location.

8. Equity Trading System – Stocks Equities & Bond
Program - Equity Trading System
The objective of this project was to perform a valuation of a portfolio having different kinds of Instruments
like Equities and FIS/Bonds. The outcome was predictive models created using regression technique to
perform a Quantitative analysis and get the portfolio value. Based on this predictive model a prototype
was created which was used to baseline the requirement and the respective enhancement were added to
the module. Later UAT testing was validated by reusing the model. In this project I was leading a team of
3 people.
