diverse and different groups such as boys and girls.

3. Where are you from, are you a boy or a girl, what age are you,
what are your interests, do you like to play sport for example?
Why don’t you answer these questions and create a profile that you
can show your parents!
Also ask yourself if you are happy with these features, if you see
any features in your friends that you would like.

4. The next time you are in your classroom or at the zoo, look around
at how different everyone is.
For example, a Tiger has lines on its body and a Cheetah has
spots.
This is the same with humans, we are all different, some people
speak English, others speak French or Chinese or some other
language.
Some people are Christian, some are Jewish and others don’t
believe in a god.

5. So, the next time you go and choose a book from the library, look
to see what it is and look to see what someone else in your class is
reading.
This will show you that nobody is the same and that this is not
bad.
It isn’t bad if you are a boy and you love to read about pirates
and if you are a girl and love to read about princesses such as
Cinderella.

Your teacher and librarian are going to love you and will give you a
surprise lucky dip!
Your librarian will then read you Dear Zoo, to find out about these
different animals and to find out what the perfect family pet is!
