Warm-ups
 1. Physical warm-ups
 „Pass the clap in a circle“. You can
change the direction. It is a good
concentration activity and an ice-
breaker.
 2.“Walk in a circle telling 1,2,3,4,5 and
turn round and go to opposite direction
5,4,3,2,1. A new version :Add a clap.
 The last version: Walk the same way
quietly“.
 3. „Shake your body“
 Shake, please, your right hand,
now left hand. /follow the leader/
 Shake your right leg/left leg.
 Shake your shoulders
backwards/forward, please.
 Now shake your head.
 Now shake your
fingers/hands/arms/at last all
your body. Release.
 4. Look up there in the tree.
There is a cat. She can´t get down.
Help her, please. Reach her.
Higher... And higher. At last you
get her. She is so lovely.
 Pre drama: Exploring the theme
 1. Follow the leader. Be a lioness. A
hen. A duck. A monkey. An
elephant. A kangaroo. Slowly
switching form one role to another
one after the leader.
 2. Pick up a card with an animal: a
fierce dog, a sly fox, a drunken fly,
a lazy crocodile, a lovely pussy cat,
a jumping kangaroo, a big elephant,
a busy bee, an active spider.
 3. A guided improvisation
 The teacher tells the story /guided
fantasy/ in which animal ends up in
various situations. The pupils play
the story while it is being told. They
fully transform into the chosen
animal. They play animal on 4 legs,
they play a bird like it flies...
 If there are too many pupils, divide
them into two halves. One group
watches while the second
observes. A task for watchers:
 Who was who?
 Advice: Read very, very slowly.
And at first demonstrate.
 If you are bat, how do you sleep, if
you are a bird, how do you look for
food /eat/drink?
 And start now.
Text for the Guided Improvisation
 You are sleeping soundly/How?
Does a fly, a dog.. sleep/? As you
sleep, a fly comes and bothers you.
You wake up /How?/ you are thirsty
and you look for some water. You
drink /How?/ It tastes well. Drink
some more. You spot a friend, say
hello to him. /sound/. You play
together. You get hungry and you go
to look for some food. /lion hunting,
fly excrements/.
 Now you meet an enemy. There is
a confrontation and a fight takes
place. You win/lose.
 You find the food and eat /How?/
You see another animal.
 You fall in love with it. You do a
mating dance.
 You are tired and you go to look a
place to sleep. You fall asleep.
Calming down
 A quiet time for reflection,
evaluation of the work in the
lesson.
 It lovers energy and closes drama.

A na koniec reflexie
 Ďakujem tým, ktorí takéto prípravy
čítajú. Sú to odskúšané veci s veľkým
úspechom u žiakov i u kolegov učiteľov.
Námety som pozbierala na tvorivých
dielňach v SR a v Belgicku.
 Nezabudnem, keď som sama hrala, bola
to skákajúca žabka. Nakoniec, keď som
otvorila oči, Carmen, učiteľka zo
Španielska sedela asi 2 m vysoko na
okne. Ako sa tam dostala? Bola mucha!
 Alebo jedna žiačka sa priznala, že ona
ako mucha sa tak preľakla, keď ju
začal prenasledovať nejaký vták, že to
nikdy nezabudne.
 Malí druháci chceli túto „hru“hrať
opakovane nespočetnekrát. Vždy boli
iné zvieratko.
 A kolegyne učiteľky boli skvostné, keď
hrali hada, ktorý tancuje s levom!
Alebo bitka ryby s krokodílom!

You wake up /How?/ you are thirsty and you look for some water. You drink /How?/ It tastes well. Drink some more. You spot a friend, say hello to him. /sound/. You play together. You get hungry and you go to look for some food. /lion hunting, fly excrements/.
  • 9.  Now you meet an enemy. There is a confrontation and a fight takes place. You win/lose.  You find the food and eat /How?/ You see another animal.  You fall in love with it. You do a mating dance.  You are tired and you go to look a place to sleep. You fall asleep.

  • 12. A na koniec reflexie  Ďakujem tým, ktorí takéto prípravy čítajú. Sú to odskúšané veci s veľkým úspechom u žiakov i u kolegov učiteľov. Námety som pozbierala na tvorivých dielňach v SR a v Belgicku.  Nezabudnem, keď som sama hrala, bola to skákajúca žabka. Nakoniec, keď som otvorila oči, Carmen, učiteľka zo Španielska sedela asi 2 m vysoko na okne. Ako sa tam dostala? Bola mucha!
  • 13.  Alebo jedna žiačka sa priznala, že ona ako mucha sa tak preľakla, keď ju začal prenasledovať nejaký vták, že to nikdy nezabudne.  Malí druháci chceli túto „hru“hrať opakovane nespočetnekrát. Vždy boli iné zvieratko.  A kolegyne učiteľky boli skvostné, keď hrali hada, ktorý tancuje s levom! Alebo bitka ryby s krokodílom!
