This document describes a gesture-based digital art system using a color coherence vector algorithm. The system uses gesture recognition to track colored markers on a user's fingers to allow drawing in the air. A Raspberry Pi processes images from a webcam to recognize gestures and display corresponding drawings on an LCD screen in real-time. The system is intended to provide a convenient way to create digital art wirelessly using natural hand gestures.
This paper presents the maneuver of mouse pointer and performs various mouse operations such as left
click, right click, double click, drag etc using gestures recognition technique. Recognizing gestures is a
complex task which involves many aspects such as motion modeling, motion analysis, pattern recognition
and machine learning.
Keeping all the essential factors in mind a system has been created which recognizes the movement of
fingers and various patterns formed by them. Color caps have been used for fingers to distinguish it from
the background color such as skin color. Thus recognizing the gestures various mouse events have been
performed. The application has been created on MATLAB environment with operating system as windows

Blending of Images Using Discrete Wavelet Transformrahulmonikasharma
The project presents multi focus image fusion using discrete wavelet transform with local directional pattern and spatial frequency analysis. Multi focus image fusion in wireless visual sensor networks is a process of blending two or more images to get a new one which has a more accurate description of the scene than the individual source images. In this project, the proposed model utilizes the multi scale decomposition done by discrete wavelet transform for fusing the images in its frequency domain. It decomposes an image into two different components like structural and textural information. It doesn’t down sample the image while transforming into frequency domain. So it preserves the edge texture details while reconstructing image from its frequency domain. It is used to reduce the problems like blocking, ringing artifacts occurs because of DCT and DWT. The low frequency sub-band coefficients are fused by selecting coefficient having maximum spatial frequency. It indicates the overall active level of an image. The high frequency sub-band coefficients are fused by selecting coefficients having maximum LDP code value LDP computes the edge response values in all eight directions at each pixel position and generates a code from the relative strength magnitude. Finally, fused two different frequency sub-bands are inverse transformed to reconstruct fused image. The system performance will be evaluated by using the parameters such as Peak signal to noise ratio, correlation and entropy

How data can be shared from one part of the world to the other in near real time came with
the arrival of internet. Along with this they have introduced new challenges like maintaining the
confidentiality of transmitting the data. This gave a boost to the research area related to cryptography.
Firstly, Encryption of images with the accepted encryption algorithms had significant downside as key
management was complicated and limited. Secondly, introduction to new area for encrypting images
was splitting the image at its pixel level in to multiple shares. But the major drawback of this approach
was that the recovered image had a poor quality. To overcome these mentioned drawbacks we have
proposed a new approach which does not attempt to use any type of keys for encryption.
Markerless motion capture for 3D human model animation using depth cameraTELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
3D animation is created using keyframe based system in 3D animation software such as Blender and Maya. Due to the long time interval and the need of high expertise in 3D animation, motion capture devices were used as an alternative and Microsoft Kinect v2 sensor is one of them. This research analyses the capabilities of the Kinect sensor in producing 3D human model animations using motion capture and keyframe based animation system in reference to a live motion performance. The quality, time interval and cost of both animation results were compared. The experimental result shows that motion capture system with Kinect sensor consumed less time (only 2.6%) and cost (30%) in the long run (10 minutes of animation) compare to keyframe-based system, but it produced lower quality animation. This was due to the lack of body detection accuracy when there is obstruction. Moreover, the sensor’s constant assumption that the performer’s body faces forward made it unreliable to be used for a wide variety of movements. Furthermore, standard test defined in this research covers most body parts’ movements to evaluate other motion capture system.

Mouse Simulation Using Two Coloured Tapes ijistjournal
In this paper, we present a novel approach for Human Computer Interaction (HCI) where, we control cursor movement using a real-time camera. Current methods involve changing mouse parts such as adding more buttons or changing the position of the tracking ball. Instead, our method is to use a camera and computer vision technology, such as image segmentation and gesture recognition, to control mouse tasks (left and right clicking, double-clicking, and scrolling) and we show how it can perform everything as current mouse devices can.
The software will be developed in JAVA language. Recognition and pose estimation in this system are user independent and robust as we will be using colour tapes on our finger to perform actions. The software can be used as an intuitive input interface to applications that require multi-dimensional control e.g. computer games etc.

Realtime Energy Efficient Digital Image Watermarking on Mobile Devices using ...CSCJournals
This paper proposes a real time and energy efficient image watermarking scheme using DCT – DWT hybrid transformation. The proposed method is using a 2 – level of quantization on the Y component of true color image captured in real time and low frequency band coefficients are selected for the dataset prepared of size 256 * 10 using these coefficients, which is supplied to Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) a single layer feed forward network. A normalized column vector of size 256 * 1 is generated by ELM for its usage as key sequence for embedding the watermark. This hybrid transforms provide a better imperceptibility and reduction in the time taken by entire watermarking process i.e. within a second, makes it energy efficient and suitable for the proposed smart phone android app for a real time image watermarking.

Face recognition is an important problem in many application domains. Matching sketches with
digital face image is important in solving crimes and capturing criminals. It is a computer application for
automatically identifying a person from a still image. Law enforcement agencies are progressively using
composite sketches and forensic sketches for catching the criminals. This paper presents two algorithms that
efficiently retrieve the matched results. First method uses multiscale circular Weber’s local descriptor to encode
more discriminative local micro patterns from local regions. Second method uses image moments, it extracts
discriminative shape, orientation, and texture features from local regions of a face. The discriminating
information from both sketch and digital image is compared using appropriate distance measure. The
contributions of this research paper are: i) Comparison of multiscale circular Weber’s local descriptor with

Throughout the history of computers we've been striving to shorten the gap between us and digital information, the gap between our physical world and the world in the screen where our imagination can go wild. And this gap has become shorter, shorter, and even shorter, and now this gap is shortened down to less than a millimeter, the thickness of a touch-screen glass, and the power of computing has become accessible to everyone.
But I wondered, what if there could be no boundary at all? I started to imagine what this would look like. First, I introduce this tool in below which penetrates into the digital space, so when you press it hard on the screen, it transfers its physical body into pixels. Designers can materialize their ideas directly in 3D, and surgeons can practice on virtual organs underneath the screen. So with this tool, this boundary has been broken.

We present Beyond, an interface for 3-D design where users can directly manipulate digital media with physically retractable tools and hand gestures. When pushed onto the screen, these tools physically collapse and project themselves onto the screen, letting users perceive as if they were inserting the tools into the digital space beyond the screen. The aim of Beyond is to make the digital 3-D design process straightforward, and more accessible to general users by extending physical affordances to the digital space beyond the computer screen.

Computer graphics is responsible for displaying art and image data effectively and beautifully to the user, and processing image data received from the physical world. The interaction and understanding of computers and interpretation of data has been made easier because of computer graphics. It have had a profound impact on many types of media and have revolutionized animation, movies and the video game industry.
Computer-generated imagery (CGI) is the application of computer graphics to create or contribute to images in art, printed media, video games, films, television programs, commercials, videos, and simulators. The visual scenes may be dynamic or static, and may be two-dimensional (2D), though the term "CGI" is most commonly used to refer to 3D computer graphics used for creating scenes or special effects in films and television.
Video games most often use real-time computer graphics (rarely referred to as CGI), but may also include pre-rendered "cut scenes" and intro movies that would be typical CGI applications.

Online aptitude test management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The purpose of on-line aptitude test system is to take online test in an efficient manner and no time wasting for checking the paper. The main objective of on-line aptitude test system is to efficiently evaluate the candidate thoroughly through a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also gives fast results. For students they give papers according to their convenience and time and there is no need of using extra thing like paper, pen etc. This can be used in educational institutions as well as in corporate world. Can be used anywhere any time as it is a web based application (user Location doesn’t matter). No restriction that examiner has to be present when the candidate takes the test.
Every time when lecturers/professors need to conduct examinations they have to sit down think about the questions and then create a whole new set of questions for each and every exam. In some cases the professor may want to give an open book online exam that is the student can take the exam any time anywhere, but the student might have to answer the questions in a limited time period. The professor may want to change the sequence of questions for every student. The problem that a student has is whenever a date for the exam is declared the student has to take it and there is no way he can take it at some other time. This project will create an interface for the examiner to create and store questions in a repository. It will also create an interface for the student to take examinations at his convenience and the questions and/or exams may be timed. Thereby creating an application which can be used by examiners and examinee’s simultaneously.
Examination System is very useful for Teachers/Professors. As in the teaching profession, you are responsible for writing question papers. In the conventional method, you write the question paper on paper, keep question papers separate from answers and all this information you have to keep in a locker to avoid unauthorized access. Using the Examination System you can create a question paper and everything will be written to a single exam file in encrypted format. You can set the General and Administrator password to avoid unauthorized access to your question paper. Every time you start the examination, the program shuffles all the questions and selects them randomly from the database, which reduces the chances of memorizing the questions.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
