This case report describes a 32-year-old female patient who presented with acute pain in the left submandibular region of the jaw for 2 days. Ultrasonography revealed an enlarged left submandibular gland with a hyperechoic focus of 2.2 cm, indicating left submandibular sialolithiasis and sialadenitis. Sialolithiasis occurs when salivary calculi form and block the salivary duct, disrupting salivary flow and potentially causing inflammation or infection of the salivary gland (sialadenitis).
