Discussion: Don’t be overtaken with
pride. Feel free to tell about a “valley”
in your life where you learned a lesson
that can help the prospect today. Maybe
it was a mistake you used to make
when selling your product.

List the common problems
that you find companies deal
with.
Discussion: Make an exhaustive list of
the kinds of problems that companies
have when you first meet them. Get
very detailed and categorize it by
constituent level inside the company,
i.e. president, CFO, etc.

Always leave ample time for
Q & A. At least a third of the
time should be devoted to
this.
Discussion: As you plan your
presentation, you should always be
prepared for the 10 most common
questions that might come up. You
should never be surprised at the asking
of a question. Discuss in a group what
those 10-12 questions are.
