2. Process
The first step was selecting a good photo for
the front cover, I chose this because it’s a
perfect example of an in the moment
picture- it has a busy back ground and
there's a lot of the clubby blues and pinks
within it, its also all in focus and the two
subjects look stunning.
The next part was deciding where to put
things on the cover, e.g. the title, barcode,
spall texts- I marked these out with black
squares. I chose the locations of these
because they kind of circle the two subjects
on the cover and doesn’t take much
attention off them also doesn’t block the
image out and the image is still clear and the
main reasons I chose this picture is still seen.

3. Process
This is the start of my front
cover, I chose this image
because it’s a very warm image
and there's a lot of ambient
club colors in the back and the
whole photo looks busy. I chose
this font and color as it looks
professional and also looks very
‘LED’ like and neon to suit a
club theme, it also goes wit the
photo quite well. I looked at a
lot of different fonts and this is
the one that stood out and
best fitted my style. I change
the photo because this one had
a lot more colors in it and there
is a lot more going on around
them creating a more popular
vibe.

4. Process
I have now added a bar code and
3 small Tag boxes to give a little
information of what’s
Inside the magazine, I used the
same font as the title to make it
look all together. I used circles to
make them stand out more and
grab peoples attention. The bar
code makes the front cover look
more professional and real. A lot
of other magazines had these
kind of things on the front cover,
in my research I saw a lot of them
within the same style as I have
done and I feel like it makes the
cover look a lot more
professional.

5. Process
I chose to do this style double page
because I think it makes a huge impact to
the type of magazine I'm going for, one
that helps other photographer’s show case
there work and learn more about this style
of photography. This grabs a lot of eyes as
it’s a big picture and there's a lot in them,
its also a perfect in the moment picture
and shows people having fun and that you
don’t need a flash on your camera all the
time! The small text is inspiring and will hit
a lot of people I think which is why I chose
to put it on this page, its very suited to it
and although there's not a lot on here it
has a huge impact on people.

6. ProcessThis is my final double page spread and I chose this layout as it grabs a lot of
attention, the fire photos are good because the title above will make readers
want to know more which is under the pictures. I chose to go with the same
font and color as the cover title for the. Headers as it just shows that its
important and it stands out well on these pages.
On the right I chose to do an inter view for my article, I did it all my self and
gave it a header with two mages to suit the color theme and the topic of
what the inter view is about. I think this worked great as the lay out looks
good and professional.
For the text font I used one very similar to the title to continue and matching
the theme, I feel the black back ground and white text works really well as it
goes with the nightlife topic and stands out a lot.
I changed the layout of the big article to columns, this makes it easier to read
and follow and also makes it look a lot more professional .

7. Production over all
Over all I think my plans and initial idea didn’t
change much, some of the layout and text has
changed but I still followed my general idea of
what I wanted with not really any issues that
popped up besides when re sizing the images
they wasn’t re sizing the same as they were shot
so they was coming out squashed and things. I
love how its turned out and I think it hits my
target audience really well.
