2. Process: BeepBox
1. I started by choosing an instrument as the main
beat to my music. I decided to go with an
instrument called ‘celestial’. I used this as the
signature beat to my audio and then added on
afterwards with other sounds.
2. I then began to add onto the first instrument by
experimenting with the different instruments. I
found an instrument that worked well with the
main beat called ‘chipwave’.
3. I kept adding on different instruments to see
what would work well and what wouldn’t. I
decided to use some of the same instruments I
used in before since I knew that they worked
well.

3. Process: Character Creation
1. I researched different kinds of characters that were created with the same theme as mine in
mind. I found an image of a single character and liked the simplistic style. I decided to create two
characters only since I wouldn’t have enough time to make more and then animate them all.
2. I began to create the first character on Photoshop in a separate file called ’Characters’. I
decided to take my time trying to draw out the characters, since I had never really drawn that
much.
3. After creating the the two, I decided that I would also create two separate layers to help create
walking animations. This meant that upon doing my animation, using these different layers would
help to give off the impression that the character was walking.

4. Process: Creating the animation
1. After creating my background and characters, I created a
timeline. I then started the animation off by creating a
title page, which shows the main title of the game as
well as the starting options such as ‘start’ and ‘options’.
2. After creating the title screen, I began to create the first
part of my animation where my two characters interact.
Doing this frame by frame, I switched between the two
walking animations for my characters so that it would
help to give off the impression that they were walking.
