Consider this – There is an
online parent teacher meeting
in the next half an hour, the
online reports aren’t done, and
zoom is working properly. We
are away of the number of
reports that need to be
prepared for each student and
yet we find it difficult to
complete the task. In fact, we
are never able to complete the
day’s tasks before it is wrap-up
time. If this is experienced
regularly, we clearly have a
problem focusing and
concentrating on work.
CONSEQUENCES OF LOSS OF FOCUS
Lack of concentration leads to the
inability to meet deadlines, increased
work pressure and thereby increased
stress and ill health. There could be
many reasons why we fail to focus. An
assessment of these causes may help
us focus and enhance our productivity
at work.

Very often, stress may be the
reason behind our inability to
concentrate. There may be a
thousand things on our mind
Deal with it:
• First, we should organize
ourselves.
• Set a priority list of work,
plan schedules beforehand
and attend to each task one
by one.
• Do not multitask at such
times. Instead, concentrate
on the most important job,
finish it and then jump to the
next. This way, we won't
keep anything for the last
minute.
