6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Equipment Technology Tripod – With the tripod I found it much easier to film, especially when panning a shot. I learned how to frame a steady shot and get a really good level of shot. Digital camera – With a digital camera I learned how to take camera shots of the characters, of the scene and pictures for the development and changes of our film and I also learned to upload pictures quickly through the web. Digital Video Camera – With a digital video camera which I used for the first time, I learnt how to use the record button and start stop each scene, zoom in and out and plug in to the computer to upload our footage. I also learnt about the white balance in these cameras and how the balance is unstable whilst recording a computer screen. As I also gained a steady hand using this I learned that the camera can pick up on sound really easily.
Online Website & Social Networking YouTube - I learnt how quickly and easy it is to upload videos on to YouTube in order to implant them into my blog and also in order to easily find out and receive feedback and opinions from online users. However I also found that the people who watched our movie and commented found it easier to comment and speak out truthfully on our film Blogger - On blogger, I learnt how quickly and easy it is to upload files, create new posts, insert videos and presentations in order to present my work as clearly and attractively as possible. Also I found out that it is easy to take videos from YouTube and relate it to my film. Facebook - I found it is easy to handle and learnt how to embed our media product onto Facebook in order to receive a quick response and comment from our target audience because most of my friends are aged 15-21. Also it it good to have our film posted on other websites other that YouTube.
