ASD refers to a range of medical conditions classified as ‘Neurodevelopmental Disorders’. We highlight the key feature that special education schools of NYC must have to cater to children with ASD.
Role of Special educator in Early childhood special education/Early interventionLearnwithAnshita
Early childhood special education (ECSE)/Early intervention (EI) services can be defined as providing necessary services such as health, nutrition, & education based on the needs children with developmental delay/disability or at risk for developmental delay/disability between age of 0 & 6/8 & to their family in order to minimise the negative effects influencing children & their families & to maximise the overall quality of life of children & their families.(Sabuncuoglu & Diken, 2010).
Services for the children with disabilities start with the screening ,assessment & referral. After the medical diagnosis, families are directly referred for guidance & research centers who are responsible for organizing & providing special education services in each areas for educational diagnosis so that their children are placed at appropriate educational institutions.
screening can be done by special educators too, they can take help of parents or caregiver who knows child’s development and behaviours. After that they will refer them to the nearest centres for complete assessment of child’s hearing. It will be focuses on determining with accuracy, not just the existence of the hearing difficulty but also details about its nature type and extent.

Teachers need to be aware of the autism spectrum disorder range and must be aware of what to expect from this population and how to teach appropriately to these students.
ADHD(ATTENTION DEFICITE HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER)-E.HARSHITHAVenkatesu E
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects children and teens and can continue into adulthood. ADHD is the most commonly diagnosed mental disorder of children. Children with ADHD may be hyperactive and unable control their impulses. Or they may have trouble paying attention.
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a mental disorder that causes above-normal levels of hyperactive and disruptive behaviour’s. ADHD is often characterized by impulsive or hyperactive behaviour. People with ADHD may have difficulties focusing their attention on a single task. They may also have a hard time sitting still for long periods.
For children, ADHD is generally associated with problems at school. Children with ADHD often have difficulty succeeding in a controlled classroom setting. Assignments can become difficult obstacles, instead of productive learning experiences. One in 10 children between ages 5 to 17 is diagnosed with ADHD, making this one of the most common childhood disorders in the United States.
A guide for teachers and childcare workers as to what to expect from children with ASD in the inclusive classroom, how to manage negative behaviours productively, and how to stimulate their cognitive development.

Applied Behaviour Analysis or ABA therapy relies on principles of behaviour analysis that has helped different learners learn a variety of new skills including language.
ABA therapy helps children with autism and other developmental disorders to acquire and master new skills.
Interventions and treatment options for autismASC HealthCare
One of the most prominent questions asked in a learning disability hospital is whether there are any ways by which Autism can be treated? What are Effective treatment programs available that help in treating autism in better ways? Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2. Autism spectrum disorder leads
to kids having speech issues,
withdrawal symptoms and
fixation issues.Therapies have
been known to work best for
kids with autism. Some of the
top rated therapies that have
given positive results in the past
are Floor time therapy, applied
behavioral analysis, Pivotal
response treatment and
relationship development
intervention.
3. Floor time therapy requires the
schools to develop activities
based on the autistic child’s
individual interest.These
activities help the child learn by
way of interests areas that child
already has. Floortime does not
separate and focus on speech,
motor, or cognitive skills but
rather addresses these areas
through a synthesized emphasis
on emotional development.
4. Applied behavioral analysis
involves noticing reaction of the
child to certain command or a
situation upfront.The
consequence can include
positive reinforcement of the
desired behavior or no reaction
for incorrect responses. ABA
targets the learning of skills and
the reduction of challenging
behaviors.
5. Pivotal response treatment
concentrates on bringing about
positive changes in the pivotal
behavior of the child.This leads
to improvements in
communication skills, play skills
and general behavior of the
child amidst people. Parents can
easily reinforce the session at
home during normal course of
the day.
6. Relationship development
intervention works on the same
principle as the others and
works on building long terms
social skills.There five principles
of this therapy are:
• Emotional referencing
• Social coordination
• Declarative language
• Flexible thinking
• Relational information
