Sensors receive information from outside the robot, including touch, distance, light, and color. The touch sensor functions as a push button, while the ultrasonic distance sensor can detect surfaces from 4 to 210 cm away. The light/color sensor can detect ambient light levels from darkness to brightness on a scale of 0 to 100 or reflected light colors from black to white. Sensors must always be connected to the correct numerical ports in the software to receive measurements.
