3Shape Scanner Trade-in / Trade-up Program
We continue our highly successful trade-in and trade-up program and now for the first time we include it in our product
catalog.
Trade-in:
Trade-in program is for trading in a competitive system against a new 3Shape TRIOS®
3 System (excluding TRIOS®
3 Mono).
Trade-up:
Trade-up program for trading in an older 3Shape TRIOS®
System for a new TRIOS®
3 System (excluding TRIOS®

From Pod to Pod systems, the customer is keeping the original dongle (no new dongle will be provided)
From Pod to Cart or Cart to Cart systems, the customer will receive a new dongle and the original subscription
will be transferred to the new dongle.
Conditions
The 3Shape Trade-up program is only valid for TRIOS scanners of which you are the original reseller.
Current reseller ownership of the dongle determine the reseller that can use this upgrade.
The older 3Shape TRIOS scanner needs to be shipped back to 3Shape designated location at customer expense.

Appendix: Notes
1. Manufacturing limitation applies – 100 cases or as agreed. The DEMO configuration is to be used exclusively for
demonstration purposes. The DEMO licenses are renewed upon request every year. The scanner cannot be resold for
a period of 12 months.
2. Manufacturing limitation applies: 100 cases or as agreed. The EDUCATION configuration is to be used exclusively for
training and education purposes by schools, universities or training centers. The name of the university/school and
contact person are required at order placement. The EDUCATION licenses are renewed upon request every year. All
upgrades are included for a period of 3 years. After this period, another 3 years can be purchased at the prevailing
price.
3. No license included. To be used as loan scanners for end users in case of repair. Reseller must have purchased at least
10 TRIOS3 systems to order either of these items. Additional systems may be ordered for every 25 full TRIOS3 systems
purchased.
4. An additional 3 years can be purchased after the initial 3 educational years are over – if customer still qualify as
‘educational’ – Used exclusively for training and educational purposes, not for production. University name/contact
person required at order placement. Number of saves are limited to 100 saves. No annual subscription. Renewed upon
request every year.
