Christine Hoy from the Scottish Government presented on the ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) project. ALISS aims to improve access to information on self-managing long-term conditions by creating an online platform that captures local support resources which are often informal and disconnected. It employs collaborative design techniques involving users, designers, and experts to develop a sustainable and empowering system. Through mapping assets, linking data sources, and enabling user-generated content, ALISS seeks to address the problems of difficultly finding and sharing relevant health information support.
