I just got back from a nice hunting trip with my dad and
friends in northern Maine. It was fun and therapeutic.
It got me thinking about why it is so important to take
time away from your home business. Listed below are
the three best reasons I can think of.

when you step away from your business for a brief
period of time and look at it from the outside in,
rather than the inside out. You look for areas to
improve, cut back or eliminate. You ask yourself
“what’s working?” and "what can I do differently?"
This time of reflection is one of your most important
jobs as the CEO.
