Thomas Bond conducted an experiment documenting his morning routine through sound effects. He recorded the process of waking up, getting ready, making breakfast, and taking the bus to college. Bond then organized the sound effect assets into a folder for easy access. He imported the sounds of water, closing, frying pans, and buses into video editing software. Bond used a razor tool to cut the sound clips to the proper length and arrange them in the correct order to match the routine. He plans to include similar sound effects and editing techniques in his final project to make the audio more engaging.

2. Process
• I Wake up at 6:40am (alarm sound) then have a wash (
running tap) after that I get dressed then I go downstairs
(walking stairs) then make pancakes (pan’s) and get the first
bus (bus) then get the next bus (bus2) then I’m at college
(doors open)
• Once I got all the assets together from google and placed
them in two a folder that I know that where all the sounds are
that I can get them more easily

I placed all the sound effects in
premier pro and arranged the sound
in the timeline so that the
sound/audio was in correct order.
Then used the razer tool to cut
them up to the right size and get the
right part of the sound effects and
audio that I need and the then place
the sound/audio in it’s final order.

4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I’ll use the sound effect elements of the
experiment because it will make the audio more
interesting.
– I will be using the same techniques as I used in
making this, like I will use the razer tool to cut bits
up.
