Working Title: Vending machine breaker
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Target Gaming Platform: PC
What platform/platforms would you release the game on?
Genre: Smash em up
What sort of a game is it? Game play/perspective/single or multiplayer etc
Language / Territories English
What countries would you release it in? Would it be suitable worldwide or is it targeted at a specific
population? Is it unsuitable for any cultures or beliefs?
Synopsis / Treatment / Story / How the game plays: You are a new guy in a big office. But you
are thirsty, and you have no money yet. So You decide to stock up on your favourite drink, because
you don’t know when you will be getting paid.
Each time you hit the vending machine a coke will fall out. Each can of coke equals a life.
However. If your new boss catches you in the act, You will lose a life!
What is your game about? Discuss how it plays? What are the end goals?
One Line SalesPitch: Hit the vending machine and collect as much coke as you can before the
boss catches you.
Sum up your game in one sentence
Style (similar products and graphical style): The idea is completely original. However I have
been inspired by old school/ retro games. The office atmosphere came from a few already existing
coca cola ads.
What games is yours similar to? Why have you used it for inspiration?
Discuss this in relation to gameplay and art style
Audience: Teens aged 12 to 20. Because these people will be more likely to play video
games, the game is not gender specific as I don’t think there is any gender specific content
in it. The game can really be played by any one rich or poor, I think it’s relatable to anyone.
I think an emulator, Type B, Needs driven and balanced would like this game because I think
that it fits with these demographics.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your game appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger gamers playing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Is your game using characters/names/logos of existing games/IPs?
Will you game be sufficiently different from existing games to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
