English Name: Emblic myrobalan
Indian gosseberry
Large tree (20-25 foot tall) with slightly curved
trunk.
Branchlets are finely pubescent 10-20 cm
long.
Barks: Greenish-gray in color; peel off in scales
Habitat : It is planted throughout the
deciduous of tropical India on the hill slopes
upto 2000 m (4500 ft).
