This document discusses an experimental investigation of shock/turbulence interaction using hot-wire anemometry to measure turbulence intensity before and after the interaction. It highlights the findings that turbulence intensity fluctuations are amplified more significantly for lower open area grid plates and details on the methods for numerical simulation and data analysis. Additionally, the study establishes the relationship between hot-wire anemometer output and mean flow velocity, contributing to insights on the behavior of turbulence in response to shock waves.
