15. At Thaqeb Alserhan’s first working year at Pan
Arab Consulting Engineers PACE, one of the leading
and oldest consulting office in Kuwait, Thaqeb
Alserhan awarded a great opportunity in becoming
a project architect for one of their largest projects,
the Basic Education Collage. This resulted in gaining
the knowledge of large scale developments and
programs. Thisawardcameasaresultofhimshowing
great understanding in developing architectural
concepts in several large scale projects. He become
in-charge in training students of architecture for the
summer program. He conducted training sessions for
PACE staff on the new methods of architectural visual
presentations by utilizing the power of the digital
media which it was new at that time.

Abdulsalam Shuaib and Partners.

discovery, and the clash
between the old and the
new, damaged the roots
of the “Kuwaiti Elements”
of Architecture. Kuwait’s
architecture moved away
from its heritage and lost
its original value. The

As the Manager of the Creative Design and
Projects Department at Villamoda, a luxury brands
retailing company, Thaqeb Alserhan was the only
technical person in charge of the commercial interior
developments and work execution. He was in
charge of executing and opening new boutiques and
maintaining them, including budgeting, timeframe
scheduling, developing new shopfitting to improve
sales. He was the total developer of a winning Salmiya
Sporting Club BOT, as an in-house project for both the
technical and the financial studies. He worked on
executing and supervising star brands such as Gucci,
DolceandGabbana, Goyard, PRADA, YSL, MIU MIU,

licensed small industrial business, located at
the Fahaheel industrial area, established in 2005
by Architect Thaqeb Alserhan. It is specialized
in the fields of Industrial Development and
Manufacturing, Interior Turnkey, Retail and
Restaurant Branding and Design Development,
Products Development, and so. E:T’s operation
was directly involved in the core of innovative
design, supervision and contracting, dealing with
large scale certified design firms, contractors
and individuals. Around %70 of E:T’s Clients
are from the small businesses and the startup
entrepreneurs. In 2013, Thaqeb Alserhan earned
the award of Best Small Business in Kuwait on
the level of the GCC.

more than eleven years, Thaqeb Alserhan was the

Professor Robert McKinney,
School of Architecture, Thaqeb
Alserhan was the first and
only student, at that year, in
developing and presenting
his graduation thesis without
a single conventional sketch
or drawing. It was a total
fifth year of computerized
development which
demonstrated the truth behind
his willingness love to accept
challenges to take his designs
into a new level.
Being in a such
situation at an early stage
of his architectural career,
Thaqeb Alserhan Carried on
this challenge at the same
rate which kept building up
his strong creativity, ability to
the good design judgment,
and the entrepreneurial spirit.
He realized the importance
of having his own Code of
Ethics at that early stage.
Written in 2001, he set a
self-governing line to be as
a professional architect and
by his self-ruling career to
recognize and respect the
intellectual property rights
of others. It is important to
preserve their ideas, designs,
and researches in giving them
the credit to their work if it
have been used or influenced.

Where do Thaqeb Alserhan get his inspiration?

words of his long beloved
Prince of Hearts, the late
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber
Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
(1926 – 2006) on the talented
citizens of Kuwait, Thaqeb
Alserhan carried the burden
to translate these words into
deeds. It was a mission upon
him to take responsibility to
spread the knowledge and
experience that he gained
in his professional career,
helping others in need in his
own unique style. Sharing

Albert Einstein’s
quote which he stated that “
Imagination is more important

beyond. He utilized this line
to proof his theories. Another
