3. One of my favorite quotes of the great
architect Tadao Ando indicates that
creativity in architecture is defined as the
process of giving birth to ideas, concept
and values that have never been thought
of before. Finding new methods that
would enhance and develop the human
intelligence and creativity didn't simplify
the problem but raised its complexities
and requires the process of thinking by
using one's hand to sketch and put ideas
on a paper

Urban Design, Socialization,
and Quality of life.

7. On a global scale, a decline in community relations
and social cohesion is being felt as despite having
access to more methods of communication, people
in dense cities do not know their neighbours. The
prominence of contemporary architecture style in
Saudi neighbourhoods create a scenario where the
social fabric of theT Saudi community is harmed as
people are discouraged from having frequent social
interactions with their neighbours as these
neighbourhoods necessitate use of cars and reduce
chance encounters with the neighbours.
The social compound is an integrated community
with all services and facilities, providing a variety of
homes that suit the various segments of our Saudi
society. The project promotes social interaction
between neighbours by creating shared spaces,
gardens and promoting walkability. It is an integrated
community that encourages residents to connect
and enjoy nature as part of their daily life. The
compound consists of 113 units hosting 10 different
facilities. It Enriches the lives of residents with access
to a range of top facilities and amenities while
providing a pedestrian oriented environment.

17. Witnessing the many challenges Saudi Arabia has
faced and still is facing from the international
community only reassures the collective belief and
strengthens the footing in this holy land Allah has
blessed us with.
Aligning with his excellency’s vision, targeting the
world by stepping over and showing our way… The
Islamic way.
Our Religion and language are more precious than
liquid gold and they should be celebrated and
commemorated in the utmost flamboyant way.
Translating our language into our walls, dwellings; to
integrate within and guide the visitors. To elevate
their perspective of our cultural existence, as they
should.
To belong is to understand and appreciate our roots.
To integrate rather than migrate. To highlight rather
than borrow. To export rather than import. To bring
back our lost heritage in the utmost mind-boggling
manner…. To bring back the light we once had.

To have our property be known as among the
premier luxury destinations in the world, to
create personal luxurious experience for our
guests that they will treasure for a lifetime. The
aim is to be recognized as a unique resort for
fulfilling the promise extended to our guests. To
maintain the highest hospitality property by
creating a positive and a healthy working and a
living environment. To provide highly
personalized service and gracious hospitality in
an informally elegant setting.

31. Biomimicry + sustainable systems
can be the solution to our
environmental problems. For
decades, we have built for mankind
but neglected nature. Rapid
changes are currently happening to
the world. Researchers speculate
that jellyfish might take over the
ocean. The reason for sudden
jellyfish blooms is still unknown.
Jellyfish blooms might be nature’s
answer to clean our polluted bodies
of water. The hotel creates a win-
win environment between Mother
Nature and humans. As humans we
have the moral obligation and
responsibility to save our earth. The
hotel is envisioned to be a food
producer, a water treatment plant
and a sustainable place.
CONCEPT

33. The inner double volume rotates
with passages which connects
the spaces with cores and allows
for natural light to enter the
building from skylight.
The panoramic core is inspired
from the jellyfish’s anatomy
(central part) and the upper
passages connecting the middle
core to the surrounding spaces
are also inspired from the
jellyfish (tentacles).

Public transportation is the ultimate
solutions to many issues. Public
transportation and cycling in daily
mobility is considered an efficient
means to reduce air pollution, traffic
jams, and carbon emissions.
Saudi Vision 2030
Improved transportation, Improve
public interaction, encourage cycling,
using all-electric means of
transportation, using solar energy and
a greener future, etc.
People are encouraged to use
pedestrian spaces and bicycle paths
and public bus transports to achieve
that I proposed the design for the
following elements:

39. 01 | INTERACTIVE BUS STOP
The bus stop reimagines how the daily
experience of commuters can be
enhanced by reinventing the bus stop as
an active social generator of experience,
meanings and memories. Passengers
relax and shelter from the heat while
waiting. The bus stop seeks to create the
various social environments to make
waiting for a bus a joyful experience
worth waiting for.

45. 02 | BICYCLE RENTAL KIOSK & CAFÉ
It is a place that offers cyclists to
safely park their bike, while
facilitating greenery, benches and
a charging pod for electrical cars
as well as a small café. It is simply
a place to stop by (with or
without bike), order a drink and
relax.
Bike share engages riders in
physical activity, beneficial to
health. In addition, it promotes
green mobility and contributes to
carbon neutrality.
