Daytime Senior Analyst – Data Centre – Head Office Toronto
This position required the provision of team leadership and the supervision of other
team members to actively maintain our SLA mandates of 7/24 online customer
services to our WSIB clients/vendors. The Senior Analyst would work closely with
internal development support groups and external vendors to assess operational
issues, incident/problem management, change processing, risk problem reports to
drive them to closure. Other responsibilities included office management; staff
scheduling, project management, RFI/RFP advisor, Data Centre security policies and
procedures, facility management, Business Contingency and Disaster Recovery
Planning. Other management’s requests and requirements as assigned.
Knowledge of system operations and data processing to provide guidance and
technical assistance in support of IT services. Strong skill sets of Service Now,
Tivoli, CA batch products, Network, Environment performance capacity reviews
required. Lotus Notes/Outlook, SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel,
2010 Word and PowerPoint were used as the company’s main communication tool.
Positions held at WSIB were Acting Manager, DC Project Coordinator, Intermediate
Operator and Print Operator. I also maintained Data Centre Metrics, Audit Reporting,
Business Contingency Process and Disaster Recovery ‘Technical Recovery Planning’ as
I served as the DC project scheduler and coordinator.

Computer Operator
The company was a microfiche based business. I started as an I/O Clerk and after
eight months worked my way up to computer operator. Job responsibilities included
the execution of a micro processor, duplicator and the shipping and handling of
external client’s payroll and multi-media.
