Those who complete this training will be able to conduct assessments within
their fields of expertise and contribute towards the achievement of a variety
of qualifications, particularly within the fields of Education Training and
Development Practices and Human Resource Development. To prepare our
learners to play a role of a fair, valid and reliable assessor we introduce them
to the legislation and show how to design outcomes based assessments.
This training is designed in such a way that a learner can grow and take
moderation skills training without completing any additional unit standards.
In particular, individuals credited with this unit standard will be able to:
 demonstrate understanding of outcomes-based assessment
 understand unit standards and national qualifications
 prepare and conduct assessments
 provide feedback and review assessments
 develop outcomes-based assessment instruments
