- The University Technology Council plays no direct role in shared governance. In summary, the members of the Technology Council collectively influence the broad application of information technology and provision of related support across academic programs, student services and university operations.
- Recommendations don’t just “fit in” they’re “plugged in” to a strategic imperative. Proposed initiatives translate the intent of recommendations into programmatic improvements that favorably impact one or more strategic areas of focus.
- This tool will help inform the establishment of annual priorities for allocation of resources. Note that resource allocation considerations go beyond funding and include the finite constraints of time, personnel and expertise available at any given point in time. Once feasibility is determined for individual objectives based on the level of support and availability of both resources and funding then relative priorities can be established as a next step.
