The first term of the school year was busy and fun. Students worked hard in their classes but also enjoyed arts, crafts, and group activities. They celebrated Halloween and had a special visitor, Javier, who made them laugh. The term included trips to the library and museum as well as tests at the end.

3. At the beginning of
September, we
were getting ready
for a new school
year...

11. We worked very hard in all the subjects
throughout the first term

had a lot of
fun during
arts & crafts
lessons!

We did a lot of group
activities where we worked in
teams and helped each other.

50. On October the 31st we
celebrated Halloween...
Our favourite festival!!!!
We made scary masks, played
games , listened to stories, sang
songs, dance music...
We had a lot of fun with Alexis
and Tom.

57. We love sports and
P.E., so we decided to
go to the cross.
It’s a big race where a
lot of children run to
have fun.

61. We are doing a lot of
reading and writing in
English and in Spanish, so
we decided to go to the
museum of the National
Library.

65. We also studied a lot of science.
We learnt lots of things about
the human body, healthy habits,
the plants, the ecosystems, the
minerals, the rocks, the soil...

73. We went out on a trip to Conde
Duque, where we met the author of
a book called Anastasia la Valiente.
He told us a lot of stories. He was
very very funny!

78. At the end of the
first term we did
many tests.
It was very difficult
because we had to
study a lot.

82. We were so lucky because we
had a very special visitor in
school, Javier, Lucia’s brother.
He played a lot of improvisation
games with us and he made us
laugh a lot.

92. We had a lot of special
visitors coming to our
school to give out
prizes and certificates
to some children from
years 4, 5 and 6.
They told us that we
have to write and
read as much as
possible.
