             A Study of Educational Development in Indian
                             Rural Areas

A B S T R A C T
  A research statistics into demographics of the country reveals that over 72% India population lives in villages and small
  town and in poor socioeconomic condition since India's Independence concerted efforts have been under taken to
  improve infrastructure and promote development in rural pocket of the country however rural development includes not
  just economic betterment but also socio transformation with particular emphasis on educational facalities to bridge
  the rural urban divide. Education plays a pivotal role in achieving development & sustainable livelihoods in a competitive
  economic environment.
