This document discusses the graphical solution method for linear programming problems (LPP). It defines a basic feasible solution as one that satisfies non-negativity conditions and constraints. An optimal feasible solution optimizes the objective function from among basic feasible solutions. The steps for the graphical method are given as: 1) Formulate the LPP, 2) Plot constraint lines on a graph ensuring constants are positive and inequalities are equalities, 3) Identify the feasible region, and 4) Find the optimal solution.

It is termed as a solution which satisfies the non
negativity condition as well as the constraints.
A problem can have many Feasible Solution.
Optimal Feasible Solution:
A basic feasible solution which optimizes the
Objective Function.

Steps for obtaining Graphical Solution
Steps:
1) Formulate the problem as a LPP .
2) Plot the Constraint Lines on Graph:
Note: While Plotting Constraint Line-
a) Constant on RHS of equation must be positive. (if not do so)
b) Replace the inequality sign by Equality Sign.
c) Identify two points on the line to draw the same.
3) Identify the Feasible Region or Solution Space.
4) Find Optimum Solution.
