This document discusses using the MODI method to find optimal solutions for transportation problems with prohibited routes. A. For a Minimization Problem, we assume a very high
unit cost (+M or +∞) for a prohibited cell and solve
further as usual.
B. For a Maximization Problem, we assume a very low
