It is unbelievably hectic this time of year! With
the holidays, year-­end planning, budgeting,
performance reviews, goal-­setting, and
celebrations all clamoring for our attention, the
calendar is jammed.
We allow the staff to carry forward only 40
hours of PTO, so in December, many are out of
the office enjoying this time of year with their
families. So how do we assure that everything
is scheduled and that managers take the
necessary time to think about each of their staff
members, reflecting on 2012 while planning
ahead for 2013?
