Cybercriminals are individuals or teams who use technology to commit malicious acts like stealing sensitive data or personal information online in order to make a profit. They operate in the dark web to trade hacking tools and stolen data. Cybercrimes are classified into three categories: crimes against individuals such as stalking or financial frauds; crimes against organizations such as hacking or distributing pirated software; and crimes against society such as trafficking, gambling or polluting the youth.
