Young people today have little leisure time due to academic pressures from school and parents. They are overloaded with assignments, homework, and have little time for relaxation. This lack of balance causes stress. Key causes include increased academic expectations, where students are required to learn more at younger ages. Parents also place high expectations on children and do not consider their feelings. Effects of stress include negative thinking, irritability, and in some cases suicide. To address this, schools need balanced learning approaches, while students should learn time management and parents reduce unrealistic demands.

Successful implementation of liberal arts in Muslim majority countries must address the following: shared vision of leberal arts, student engagement, curriculum and program development and broader accountability structures. A ahred vision presupposes that the underlying tensions regarding knowledge aims, identity construction and technology\'s roled in society are resolved at the educational institution level. The absence of resolution will result in the proliferation of scientism and knowledge factories in the name of liberal arts in the Gulf States.

These lecture slides, by Dr Sidra Arshad, offer a quick overview of the physiological basis of a normal electrocardiogram.
Learning objectives:
1. Define an electrocardiogram (ECG) and electrocardiography
2. Describe how dipoles generated by the heart produce the waveforms of the ECG
3. Describe the components of a normal electrocardiogram of a typical bipolar lead (limb II)
4. Differentiate between intervals and segments
5. Enlist some common indications for obtaining an ECG
6. Describe the flow of current around the heart during the cardiac cycle
7. Discuss the placement and polarity of the leads of electrocardiograph
8. Describe the normal electrocardiograms recorded from the limb leads and explain the physiological basis of the different records that are obtained
9. Define mean electrical vector (axis) of the heart and give the normal range
10. Define the mean QRS vector
11. Describe the axes of leads (hexagonal reference system)
12. Comprehend the vectorial analysis of the normal ECG
13. Determine the mean electrical axis of the ventricular QRS and appreciate the mean axis deviation
14. Explain the concepts of current of injury, J point, and their significance

Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: N0-N12, T3-4, blood cell circuit, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells-CC and blood cells subpopulations), LC cell dynamics, recalcification time, heparin tolerance, prothrombin index, protein, AT, procedure type (P=0.000-0.031). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and N0-12 (rank=1), thrombocytes/CC (rank=2), segmented neutrophils/CC (3), eosinophils/CC (4), erythrocytes/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), stick neutrophils/CC (8), leucocytes/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (error=0.000; area under ROC curve=1.0).

ABDOMINAL TRAUMA in pediatrics part one.drhasanrajab
Ā
Abdominal trauma in pediatrics refers to injuries or damage to the abdominal organs in children. It can occur due to various causes such as falls, motor vehicle accidents, sports-related injuries, and physical abuse. Children are more vulnerable to abdominal trauma due to their unique anatomical and physiological characteristics. Signs and symptoms include abdominal pain, tenderness, distension, vomiting, and signs of shock. Diagnosis involves physical examination, imaging studies, and laboratory tests. Management depends on the severity and may involve conservative treatment or surgical intervention. Prevention is crucial in reducing the incidence of abdominal trauma in children.
1. Topic: In some countries young people have little leisure time and are under a lot of
pressure to work hard in their studies. What do you think are the causes and effects of
this condition? Plan your response, and then write a cause and effect essay.
Leisure time it the time that most of the young people lack in because of lots of
issue especially in their studies. Young people nowadays are busy in doing
assignments, projects and homework that have been ordered by their teachers and
lecturers. Besides that, there are many news shown in newspaper or television that
report about stress of students in their study due to lots of causes so it shown clearly
that young people nowadays have lots of stress. Leisure time is very important for us
especially young people because we are still amateurs in this social community and
need more experience. There are several causes that cause young people nowadays
lack of leisure time.
Firstly, school has usually been cited as the most well-known cause of stress
among young people. Unquestionably, knowledge is ever increasing and the amount of
knowledge that students are supposed to study at school these days can be worrying.
Lots of the parents are also unable to teach their kids although it just secondary
standard. For example, in 90ās time kindergarten kids just learn ABC when they were 5
years old but in nowadays kids start to learn adjective and verb when they were 5 years
old. Therefore, instead of absorbing knowledge naturally, they are jam-packed with it.
For instance, my six years old sister nowadays hate study and started to avoid from
books because it was too hard and she canāt receive in a short time. They are
overburdened with the workload and hardly have time for recreation and relaxation.
Definitely, nervous tension is unavoidable.
Secondly, non-supportive parents are also cause that adds to the young peopleās
stress nowadays. They have such very high expectations of their children that they
sometimes pay no attention to their childrenās feelings. For example, they always
require their children to gain brilliant academic records and take little note of how much
suffering their children have to run into. Besides that, the parents with high expectation
will always stare on their childrenās homework and force them to study all the time
without providing any rest or entertainment for them. In this way, children are put under
incredible pressure, which can easily lead to some psychological problems, especially
stress.
2. What are the effects when the young people get stressed? They will start to say
dumb things. They will start babble on endlessly or go completely mute. They will snap
at their friends and family, or feel annoyed by stranger on the street. This shown that
our brain start to react negatively and we started to be negative when we get stress. It
also cause us having negative thinking, for instance, there are few news report that lots
of teenagers try to commit suicide because canāt handle all the stress taken in school or
college. It proof that stress can affect our emotional intelligence. It negatively impacts
our ability to intuit other peopleās feelings, convey our own feelings and communicate.
Stress can prevent us being aware of and controlling our emotions, so itās hard to
maintain a positive mood when stressed.
In conclusion for this stress problem, we should think some solution to avoid
these problem repeat again. Solutions that are able allow those young people get
interest back into their study and will not try to avoid studying but enclose their distance
between studying. Besides that, young people also should have their own solution such
as time-management and prepare a proper schedule for planning about their work and
assignment. Schools are also require to balance the studying level for each standard
and level because they unable to receive it when it was too hard.
5. Pre-writing:
First paragraph: (Introduction) Importance of leisure time and how stress those young
people are nowadays
Second paragraph: (Cause) Increasing of knowledge and worry of the students about
the knowledge their receive are too hard and hard to receive.
Third paragraph: (Cause) High expectation of young peopleās parents and strictness of
the parents to their children.
Fourth paragraph: (Effect) How stress affect a young people and how stress affect our
brain emotion intelligence.
Fifth paragraph: (Conclusion) Finding and discuss about solution to cure stress problem
and avoid stress problem repeat again
