school we have chosen to submit 2 practices
which seem more significant:
- Immersive Learning “Guess the Country” teaching
English in Second Life
- Helios
SECOND LIFE IS A LEARNING INTEGRATED
ENVIRONMENT WHICH OFFERS THE USE OF TEXT,
PICTURES, VIDEOS AND AUDIO CHAT
SECOND LIFE IS AN IMMERSIVE SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT
WHICH PROMOTES INTERACTION THROUGH AVATARS AND
IS A GOOD TOOL TO TEACH IF YOU WANT ADOPT A VISUAL
LEARNING APPROACH
GUESS THE COUNTRY IS THE NAME OF ONE OF OUR SCHOOL'S
PROJECTS TO TEACH ENGLISH IN SECOND LIFE
THE LEARNING UNIT IS “THE PROVENANCE” AND THE FIRST
LEARNING OBJECTIVE IS TO COMBINE NATIONAL STEREOTYPES
AND FLAGS TO COUNTRIES (LISTENING/READING)
