• Binding commitment to realize EURO-2 Emission Regulation start in January 2005.
• Adopting ASEAN Common Fuel Specification for Indonesian Fuel Specification of EURO-2 considering the

17. PERTAMINA FUEL FOR VEHICLE
• Premium, is an intermediate gasoline grade has 88 RON which can satisfy the requirements of most cars in Indonesia,
the important thing since July 1, 2006 already unleaded Gasoline.
• Solar 48/ Gas oil, is a middle distillate fuel with boiling ranges higher than gasoline but lower than diesel fuel oil. The
important properties of gas oil are, ignition quality (Cetane number) has 48, and sulfur content 3500 ppm max
Sometimes gas oil is called High Speed Diesel (HSD).
• Pertamax, is gasoline grade has 92 Research Octane Number (RON) which can satisfy the requirements of car which
needed higher octane Gasoline.
• Pertamax Plus, is gasoline grade, has 95 RON, is a Gasoline grade which demand for vehicles requiring higher octane
number.
• Pertamina Dex, is gas oil grade has achieve emission standard Euro 2 / 3, has up to 53 cetane number and under
300 ppm of sulfur content. This fuel is recommended for common rail system vehicle.
• Bio Pertamax E-3, is gasoline grade, used for the modern vehicle and environmental friendly. The composition of Bio
Pertamax now is 3% Ethanol and 97% of fossil fuel gasoline
• Bio Solar, is gas oil grade ,the composition of Bio Solar is 2.5% FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) and 97.5% of fossil
fuel Gas Oil
• Bio Premium E-3, is gasoline grade, the quality same with Premium and environmental friendly. The composition of
Biopremium now is 3% Ethanol and 97% of fossil fuel gasoline
