her two year old child and has to find another way to earn money. She could not think of any other
alternatives and began selling her child out for prostitution. She could make much more money this
way than she could in one night. The woman began counseling and when asked if she had ever
considered going to church, her response was that attending church would only make her feel worse

Because Jesus extended grace to all, we should do the same. There are none who are not deserving or
worthy of our grace. This is important for us to remember. It is true that grace does not come easy, and
that it is not necessarily easy to give. Grace is not a small display of kindness; it is a sacrifice and a
gift to others. Just as Jesus gave us the gift of grace by suffering and dying on the cross for us, we
should be able to give gifts of grace at our own expense to others. I very much enjoyed this book and
was spiritually moved by it. I agree with most of what Philip Yancey has to say about lack of grace not
only in the church, but in the world also. In today s day and age, it seems that everyone is in it for
themselves. Most do not take the time of day to stop and give their grace to the needy. It helped to

One of the reasons for the decline was the loss of jobs in manufacturing, which was the labor s biggest
stronghold. America has lost three million factory jobs over the past four years. The second reason is
heavily unionized industries have been decreasing. Other reasons are many firms have moved from
the unionized to the not so unionized Southeast and Southwest region and they tend to hire nonunion
workers. Some of the American companies have moved their manufacturing process to other countries
where very few unionized labor is employed. The management of the companies is providing benefits
that include higher wages and better working conditions, therefore employees don t need to join any
union. The largest growths in employment take place in the service industries, and these industries
regularly are not unionized.
The two main types of unions are craft unions and industrial unions. Craft unions are organizations of
workers with similar skills. This type of union can maintain control over the supply of skilled laborers;
often work for multiple employers in a year. (e.g. construction unions, pilot unions)
Industrial unions are organized by industry which originally started b/c ineligible for craft unions and
typically work for one employer for long period. (e.g. steelworkers, auto workers)

Abstract
Money has a huge impact on us as individuals, changing our behaviour and the way we view others.
In order to see how great of an effect money has a study was conducted involving participants
recruited from Psyc106 classes. Participants partook in an experiment requiring them to complete a
task which involved money priming. Half the students were exposed to words associated with money
while the other group were used as a control group, being exposed to neutral words only. Following
this task, participants were asked to complete a survey which would help determine whether or not
money priming had any effect on their way of thinking or behaviour. The results found that money
priming in fact had no effect on the person s behaviour, and any variances were mainly due to the
difference in opinions of males and females.

Female Circumcision: Female Genitalia Mutilation As a nursing student in my first experience
working in a labor ward, I witnessed a lady birthing a baby with part of the birth canal scarred and
narrow due to her circumcision at puberty. To say that the birthing process was hard to watch is an
understatement. As the labor progressed with no sight of the baby coming out naturally, she was
offered a C section, which she vehemently turned down. She said, I don t want to be the joke of my

assignment was conducted using the text book, the internet, and my personal account. While
completing this project I gained a better sense of self and an individual, leader, and worker. It is my
