THE 17 ESSENTIAL QUALITIES OF A TEAM PLAYER
BECOMING THE KIND OF PERSON EVERY TEAM WANTS
B
U
by John C. Maxwell. Thomas Nelson Publishers, 2002
B
Here is a clear character profile of the ideal Team Player . Maxwell stresses some main qualities of a
good team player: intentional, or he is focused on the big picture, relational, focused on others,
selfless, willing to take a backseat for the good of the team, and tenacious works hard to overcome
obstacles, no matter what.
U U
1. Adaptable: If you won t change for the team, the team may change you. Team players who are most
likely to become adaptable possess the following characteristics: a) they are highly teachable; b) they
are emotionally secure; c) they are creative; and, d) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Enlargers add value to their teammates. Enlargers make themselves more valuable. How do we
become Enlargers? Believe in others before they believe in you. Serve others before they serve you.
Add value to others before they add value to you. Point out your teammates strengths, encourage and
motivate them out of their comfort zone, but within their gift zone.
9. Enthusiastic: Your heart is the source of energy for the team People who bring an enthusiastic
attitude to teamwork often. Take responsibility for their own enthusiasm. Act their way into feeling.
The only way to begin is simply to begin! Believe in what they are doing. Spend time with
enthusiastic people. Enthusiasm is contagious. To improve enthusiasm, one must: Show a sense of
urgency. Be willing to do more. Strive for excellence.
10. Intentional: Make every action count Being intentional means working with a strong sense of
purpose. Successful individuals are never scattered and haphazard. They have a clear reason why they
are doing what they are doing. For a team to be successful, it needs intentional people who are focused
and productive, the kind of people who can make every action count.
11. Mission conscious: The Big Picture is coming in loud and clear. The four qualities of mission
conscious team players are: 1) They know where the team is going. 2) They let the leader of the team
lead. 3) They place team accomplishment ahead of their own. 4) They do whatever is

Identify the marketing segment for the product and explain why this segment was selected.
According to Advertising Age (September, 2009), premium ice cream and frozen yogurt products are
losing market share to mid priced and other frozen dessert products. Information Resources reported
that frozen ice products comprised a third of the $2.4 billion ice cream category for the year ending
May 21, 2007, generating $717.7 million, up 9.3% from the previous year.
Based on this information, it is anticipated that the frozen dessert market can be divided into two

These weaknesses include but are not limited too: lower price sno cones and icees that are located at
Gas stations and different grocery stores. Other weaknesses include brand visibility, limited amount of
high quality syrup, and also the struggle with taking care of everything with low labor overhead.
Opportunities: To ensure many customers return, Colder than Ice Shave Ice Parlor will produce and
sell shave ice with 20 different flavored syrups. Soft drinks and ice cream will also be some refreshing
treats available for purchase to consumers who may not want a shaved ice but just would like a cold
treat. Customers of all income brackets will be able to enjoy shave ice, and will range in age from
children to adults.
Threats: Stores such as Walmart and Winn Dixie are a big threat to my product shave ice. Walmart has
everything you may want or need when you re shopping from food to electronic items although they
don t sell shave ice they do sell similar cheap sno cones. Customers that are in a hurry may get
everything thing they want or need in one store. So competition with sno cones at stores such as
Walmart and Winn dixie would be a great threat to the product.
Describe the market position for your product and service.
The shave ice business will be new to Prichard. Competitors in this type of business primarily sell sno
cones and do not focus on the shave ice market. One major competitor is the Snow Shack located on

Physics Of A Roller Coaster Essay
Have you ever looked closely at a roller coaster, though? Did you realize it doesn t have an engine?
Have you ever stopped to WONDER how a roller coaster operates at such high speeds without one?
Let s take a look at the scientific principles and forces behind the thrills of the roller coaster.
Since roller coasters don t have engines, they must be pulled by a motorized chain to the top of the
first big hill. As the roller coaster rises higher and higher into the air, its potential energy keeps
growing until it reaches its maximum potential energy at the crest of the hill.
Potential energy is sometimes known as positional energy. Potential energy represents the amount of
work the roller coaster will be able to do with the energy it builds up from falling down the other side
of the hill. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It s the same reason you fall down when you trip. Or why a ball hits the ground when you drop it.
What are we talking about? Gravity, of course!
When a roller coaster crests the first big hill, gravity takes over, causing the roller coaster to fall down
at a constant rate of 9.8 meters per second squared. All that stored potential energy changes to kinetic
energy, which can also be thought of as moving energy.
As the roller coaster falls, it accelerates and builds up enough kinetic energy to propel it through the
remainder of the ride. No engine is required because of inertia. Inertia is one of the laws of physics
described long ago by Sir Isaac Newton. The law of inertia holds that an object in motion will stay in
motion until acted upon by an equal but opposite force.
In the case of a roller coaster, this means that the kinetic energy built up from the fall down the first
hill could keep it going forever. We all know, though, that roller coaster rides don t last forever. That s
because the roller coaster loses energy to other forces as it does loop the loops, curves, and other hills
along the

Realism In The Slynx
Depiction of the post historical time in the Tolstaya s novel represents a perfect morally corrupt world
in need of a saviour. This degraded setting echoes the failed utopianism thinking of the early post
Soviet period, as according to Agren: it [The Slynx] is a reflection of the postmodern and late Soviet
disbelief in the utopian idea of state promoted progress as a grand narrative. Even though Agren
argues that the anti utopianism of the novel was inspired by the Soviet collapse, the Blast in The Slynx

with the progress. Although the technological disaster or a Blast puts an end to the Soviet utopianism,

The Development of Monitors Essay
The Development of Monitors
If you want to keep information secret, you have two possible strategies: hide the existence of the
information, or make the information unintelligible. Cryptography is the art and science of keeping
information secure from unintended audiences, of encrypting it. Conversely, cryptanalysis is the art
and science of breaking encoded data. The branch of mathematics encompassing both cryptography
and cryptanalysis is cryptology. This method of secrecy has existed since 1900 B.C. in the form of
Egyptian hieroglyphs. Up to the present two organizations have come to the front of the field; United

In an effort to keep the United States from playing an effective role in the war in Europe, Germany
offered Mexico the opportunity to regain Texas and other territories lost to the United States during
the nineteenth century, in return for a Mexican declaration of war against the U.S. The telegram
backfired, as its release by British authorities brought the U.S. closer to war with Germany. Tactically,
the First World War introduced wireless communications to the battlefield, increasing flexibility but
making codes and ciphers even more essential in guaranteeing security.
After the armistice of 1918, the United States maintained modest but significant cryptologic

customs and the traditions of the Corp. Several of the awards are named after significant figures with
the Engineer Regiment, the De Fluery, the Itschner, the Van Autreve, and the Sturgis. The others, are
specifically named after the category of the recognized, platoon leader, chief warrant, or civilian. All
Regimental awards are considered supplemental awards, the meaning they are not part of the Official

I touched on the supplemental nature of these awards. In my opinion making these awards
supplemental short changes the recipient, they have displayed superior proficiency and leadership
within the regiment. While they have been officially recognized by the award, it doesn t help them
achieve promotion above their peers, add promotion points to their promotion worksheet, or even give
them an addition ribbon for their rack. The awards are essentially the equivalent of a coin, while you
are being thanked for your superior service, they possess little benefit for the individual toward
promotion. Transitioning the regimental awards to a more official status could make the awards more
prestigious, inspire greater competition for the awards, and help recipients advance within the
regiment. All of these afore mentioned, benefit the Engineer Regiment as a whole, and would help
individuals demonstrating proficiency move through the ranks more rapidly than their

How Did The Montgomery Bus Boycott Impact The Civil Rights...
Considering the history of America, there have been quite a few drastic changes both good and bad in
the past two centuries, especially for African Americans. From slavery, to unequal rights, there have
been several events in history that has created a form of unity for blacks and whites. From those
events led by Black Activist and protesters who felt that enough was enough and that it was time to
bring about a change birthed the Civil Rights Movement. Although this was not the first movement, it
was definitely one that made a lasing impact. Even more specifically the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
The Montgomery Bus Boycott was one of the most famous events during this protesting era. It allows
myself as well as others to question what we have been taught over the years. Although it is quite
evident that the outcome was favorable towards blacks, but the road to redemption was quite rocky.

The Mining Industry And Its Effects On The Environment
1. INTRODUCTION
The world as we know it, is continuously evolving. With an increase in population, there exists a great
deal of economic and social needs. The earth is enriched with a vast of diverse precious minerals
which play a significant role in our lives. These minerals are used in many sectors such as medicine,
construction, agriculture etc. To extract these precious minerals from the earth s crust, extensive
mining operations are carried out daily. These operations comprise drilling and blasting of ores to
attain the minerals. During these operations great harm and damage is being done on the environment.
The mining industry is by far the most influential industry with regards to setting a country s economy
in motion. Different mines extract different minerals from coal to diamond and gold. These resources
are embedded within ores which have to be drilled and blasted to be extracted. After retracting the
resources the waste rock and waste that is detached from the ore during processing, is dumped away
from the pit onto a surface waste dump which is commonly known as mine tailings. Mine tailings are
the largest mine wastes on earth and can reach several hundred meters in elevation. This type of waste
results to countless environmental effects.
Excluding water, concrete is the mostly used material on earth. It is considered as the most important
material in the Building Environment due to its extensive usage in the construction industry. Concrete

Economic Inequality Within The Global Economy
Economic inequality can be defined by the unequal access to economic resources, in the form of
opportunities, wealth, capital, land, etc., which determine the individual s or the group s level of
power. Generally speaking, individuals and groups with high access to resources have high levels of
vertical and horizontal power, which in it turn generate more access to resources and power. The
unequal access to economic resources is institutionalized within a society. Thus, economic inequality
has far reaching effects and manifestations in other social and political institutions. In addition, with
increasing role of global economy on national economies, and the increasing inequality in the global
market, which is reflecting on increasing inequality in it turn increases inequality within nations. Thus,
the interest among political economists has increased in an effort to understand stratification and to
create policies which aim to elevate economic inequality globally and nationally.
I will argue that the capitalist economic system is inherently unequal. Farther more, it thrives on
creating highly level of economic inequality, where resources and capital is concentrated in the hands
of the economic elite, while the rest of the population service to provide cheap labor (specialized on
non specialized) which increase economic, social, and political inequality in a society. For that reason,
I don t believe that economic policies can end inequality globally or national (short from

The Influence Of Media In Criminal Minds
Introduction: Television has become a vital aspect of daily life, within modern society; every aspect of
television exhibits, to a certain extent, a reliance on genre (Mittell, 2001). Industries rely on genre to
produce programs, and audiences use genres as a means of organizing fan practices (Mittell, 2001).
According to a 2006 Nelson Media Research study, ratings confirm that aside from prime time shows
such as American Idol and Survivor, part time crime drama s have been classified as one of the most
favoured genre (DeTardo Bora, pg. 154, 2009). The relationship between the media and criminal
justice system is delicate, where more often than not, crimes are portrayed in a false light (Graveline,
pg. 1, 2015). These misconceptions lead to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Darrin Brown, Sharon Lauricella, Aziz Douai and Arshia Zaidi composed a study focusing on the uses
and grats of the aforementioned genre as a means of better understanding the relationship between
television and its audiences (Brown, Lauricella, Douai, Zaidi, 2000). Blumber and Katz s theory on
uses and gratifications suggest that audience s choose to watch certain programs as it satisfies a
particular need; in other words, people use a program to gratify or please themselves (Who Watches
Crime Dramas and Why?, 2012). They identified four main uses and grats: entertainment and
diversion, where there is an idea of escapism; surveillance and information, where people have an
urge to become more knowledgeable in a particular area; personal identity, where there is a
comparison between the characters and audience members; and finally, personal companionship,
where audience s become involved with characters as if they were real (Who Watches Crime Dramas
and Why?, 2012). The uses and Gratification theory assumes that audiences use mass media as an
outlet for satisfying certain needs and desires (Brown, et. al, 2000). According to another group of
scholars, the gratification individuals get when using such media are both social and psychological in
nature (Brown, et. al, 2000). In

How Is Invictus Historically Accurate

historically accurate. I personally really liked this movie. Mainly because it tells a very interesting
story and really catches your attention and keeps it through the entire film. I do not think that this
movie was completely historically accurate. There was many moments where you would notice that
things were not how they were supposed to be. Then when I researched I found many more that I had

personal freedom. Both Walker and Spielberg use
Celie s experiences to convey how her struggles allow her to come into her womanhood, however,
Walker tells the story through a darker and hopeless lens whereas Spielberg presents the pain through
a much less negative perspective.
Both Alice walker and Steven Spielberg portray Celie s struggles in detail, however, Spielberg fails to

Throughout this section of the scene Celie does display happiness through a smile and light laughter.
This sense of happiness does not carry over in the book. The book portrays a more, glass half empty
point of view, where Celie is more jealous of her husband s relationship with Shrug. When Mr. gets
home from meeting Shrug, Celie wants to ask a million questions about her but holds them all in
because Mr. would not want to answer them. She also shows her self consciousness in the book
because of Shrug. Although Celie looks up to
Shrug and idolises her in the book, she also knows that shrug is the woman which her husband wishes
he had married. This is very destroying to Celie s self confidence. Celie knows that the bar is set so
high for her that she will never be able to live up to the standards to which her husband expects. In
both the book and the movie, Celie helps
Shrug back to health. In the book Celie and Shrug come out of Shrugs sickness with a very strong
relationship and Celie uses Shrug as a way to become who she is as a person. In the movie, Celie and

Compare And Contrast The Archeologists By Gerard Donovan
In the Archeologists by Gerard Donovan there are two seemingly similar yet distant archeologist
named Emma and Robert. They have been going around a digging up looking for artifacts in Ireland
before they are covered by the modern civilization. However, Robert is the type of archeologist who is
by the book, wants to find the artifacts and make a bigger connection with them by writing. On the
other hand there is Emma, an archeologist who is not by the book and will go off record to find and
preserve the artifacts that she finds. During their diggings they find a young Irelander in the ground
and Emma does everything in her power to dig it up even though Robert wants to finish digging

The Military Revolution
Holub, Martin
HIST; midterm #2
The military revolution was a direct outcome of changes in the virtuosity of war between 1560 and
1660. The changes crucially influenced campaigning and combat in Europe during the late 17th and
early 18th centuries. The most influential alterations included transformation in weapons, growth in
the army size, change in tactics and organization, and centralization of the states bureaucracies. There
were many battles in the late 17th and early 18th centuries that were highly influenced by the
implications of the military revolution, for example, the Battles of Hogue, Danube, and Blenheim.
These altercations started a development for military superiority and increased proficiency that
enabled Europe to dominate the world long after the Wars of the Spanish Succession. However, I
would like to emphasize that those victories mentioned above were heavily influenced by the skills of
the commanding individuals and their roles in the military organizational system rather than a full
internalization of the revolution s implications overall. The Duke of Marlborough is a great example
of an individual overweighting the flaws of the late 17th century logistical systems to his advantage.
By comparison, France s failure to understand and implement the alterations eventually enabled the
rise of Britain s at the French expense. During the 17th century the European powers developed a
whole new array of firepower. The old gunpowder weapons that fired by

Reflection: The Comparison of Solution Focus Family Therapy and Narrative Family Therapy
Solution Focused Family Therapy is a group treatment based on over twenty years of theoretical
development, clinical practice, and empirical research. Solution Focused Family Therapy is different
in many ways from traditional approaches to treatment. It is a competency based model, which
minimizes importance of past problems, and instead focuses on clients strengths and what has worked
for the clients. There is a focus on working from the client s understandings of her or his concerns and

this is when the client is encouraged to speak freely with minimal input from the therapist. This

Prostitution
Casual sex for currency has been a major part of history that many upstanding citizens frown upon or
overlook completely. ?Wherever we find evidence of human culture, we find evidence of
prostitution.? (Fanni) Prostitution may in fact be the world?s oldest profession; as early as the third
millennium B.C. In ancient times, prostitution was a way of worshipping and honoring the gods.
The first major civilization, Mesopotamia, honored the goddess Ishtar with money earned from
prostitution. The goddess Ishtar was a reflection of the planet Venus, and was reborn in the morning
only to become a ?whore? at night.
Ancient civilizations treated prostitution with little hypocrisy and an open mind. ?Prostitutes were
regarded as little more than objects to be paid a handful of coins they were also seen as a public
necessity.? Today prostitution could be more than it has ever been due to new medications and means
of protection, precautions are known and can be taken to make this job safer than it has ever been,
ultimately giving unemployed men and women who are interested a chance; currency for sex has
always been the way of mankind and will continue to be a part of mankind throughout the future.

Financial Crisis in This Time is Different by Reinhart and...
People always think that the technology renovations, institutional changes and experience gains can
make the world emerge from financial crisis saying that this time is different . But they may be too
optimistic. The outrageous truth is that each new financial crisis is not predicted or forestalled. As
Reinhart and Rogoff said in their book This Time is Different , technology is changing, fashion is
changing, but self deception of governments and investors are not.
A banking crisis usually refers to a situation in a general market adjustment when faith in banking
institutions falls, and people start trying to move their money to other places for safe keeping.
(RationalWiki) If we need to find something in common for all financial crises, that will be excessive
build ups of debt. Excessive debt accumulation makes banking industry more profitable and more
stable than it really is and it will easily be ignored at the beginning. However, if the equilibrate has
been destroyed, systemic risk will grow and increases more quickly and greater than usual.

Social Construction Of Deviance Of Women In The 1920 s
Assignment 2 The social construction of deviance is defined by how an individual or group breaks a
society s cultural norms and values. Deviance occurs by certain behaviors of a culture that goes
against the everyday behavior of a specific sect of society. A specific example of this is the women
rights movement during the late 1800 s and ending in the 1920 s. Women who wanted to work or have
the same rights as men were seen as deviant because women were meant to be housewives. Women s
right activists argued that women are equal to men. When the end of the war happened, women started
to volunteer during late 1800 s. As time went on, the culture began adapting towards normalcy of
women working with men. This was later approved by the senate ... Show more content on

Americans living homelessness and less safety because of more crimes. American s who are poor will

Geert Hofstede Cultural Perspective Theory
Geert Hofstede theorized the Cultural Dimensions theory, which allows categorisation of countries or
societies into different dimensions, explaining the effects of a society s culture on the values of its
population. (Hofstede, G. 2009) The dimensions are as follows power distance, uncertainty avoidance,
individualism vs. collectivism, masculine vs feminine, and long term or short term orientation. By
focusing on the individualist vs. collectivist dimension, the impact of geographical location on suicide
rates could potentially be explained.
Members of individualistic cultures place an emphasis personal rights, innovation, and self expression.
Individualistic cultures tend to focus more on themselves rather than groups of people and prioritize
their own personal gains and achievements. Independence is valued; there is less importance is placed
on helping other citizens of the community than in collectivistic societies. Countries such as the
United States, United Kingdom, and Australia are examples of individualistic cultures. In contrast,
collectivistic cultures place an emphasis on collaboration, shared interests and harmony, and focus on
loyalty and cooperation. Collectivist cultures therefore tend to value group efforts over an individual s,
and each person is encouraged to be an active person in society. Southeast Asia, South and Central ...

  • 5. Physics Of A Roller Coaster Essay Have you ever looked closely at a roller coaster, though? Did you realize it doesn t have an engine? Have you ever stopped to WONDER how a roller coaster operates at such high speeds without one? Let s take a look at the scientific principles and forces behind the thrills of the roller coaster. Since roller coasters don t have engines, they must be pulled by a motorized chain to the top of the first big hill. As the roller coaster rises higher and higher into the air, its potential energy keeps growing until it reaches its maximum potential energy at the crest of the hill. Potential energy is sometimes known as positional energy. Potential energy represents the amount of work the roller coaster will be able to do with the energy it builds up from falling down the other side of the hill. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It s the same reason you fall down when you trip. Or why a ball hits the ground when you drop it. What are we talking about? Gravity, of course! When a roller coaster crests the first big hill, gravity takes over, causing the roller coaster to fall down at a constant rate of 9.8 meters per second squared. All that stored potential energy changes to kinetic energy, which can also be thought of as moving energy. As the roller coaster falls, it accelerates and builds up enough kinetic energy to propel it through the remainder of the ride. No engine is required because of inertia. Inertia is one of the laws of physics described long ago by Sir Isaac Newton. The law of inertia holds that an object in motion will stay in motion until acted upon by an equal but opposite force. In the case of a roller coaster, this means that the kinetic energy built up from the fall down the first hill could keep it going forever. We all know, though, that roller coaster rides don t last forever. That s because the roller coaster loses energy to other forces as it does loop the loops, curves, and other hills along the ... Tactically, the First World War introduced wireless communications to the battlefield, increasing flexibility but making codes and ciphers even more essential in guaranteeing security. With an increase in population, there exists a great deal of economic and social needs. The earth is enriched with a vast of diverse precious minerals which play a significant role in our lives. These minerals are used in many sectors such as medicine, construction, agriculture etc. To extract these precious minerals from the earth s crust, extensive mining operations are carried out daily. These operations comprise drilling and blasting of ores to attain the minerals. During these operations great harm and damage is being done on the environment. The mining industry is by far the most influential industry with regards to setting a country s economy in motion. Different mines extract different minerals from coal to diamond and gold. These resources are embedded within ores which have to be drilled and blasted to be extracted. After retracting the resources the waste rock and waste that is detached from the ore during processing, is dumped away from the pit onto a surface waste dump which is commonly known as mine tailings. Mine tailings are the largest mine wastes on earth and can reach several hundred meters in elevation. This type of waste results to countless environmental effects. • 16. Economic Inequality Within The Global Economy Economic inequality can be defined by the unequal access to economic resources, in the form of opportunities, wealth, capital, land, etc., which determine the individual s or the group s level of power. Generally speaking, individuals and groups with high access to resources have high levels of vertical and horizontal power, which in it turn generate more access to resources and power. The unequal access to economic resources is institutionalized within a society. Thus, economic inequality has far reaching effects and manifestations in other social and political institutions. In addition, with increasing role of global economy on national economies, and the increasing inequality in the global market, which is reflecting on increasing inequality in it turn increases inequality within nations. Thus, the interest among political economists has increased in an effort to understand stratification and to create policies which aim to elevate economic inequality globally and nationally. I will argue that the capitalist economic system is inherently unequal. Farther more, it thrives on creating highly level of economic inequality, where resources and capital is concentrated in the hands of the economic elite, while the rest of the population service to provide cheap labor (specialized on non specialized) which increase economic, social, and political inequality in a society. For that reason, I don t believe that economic policies can end inequality globally or national (short from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 18. The Influence Of Media In Criminal Minds Introduction: Television has become a vital aspect of daily life, within modern society; every aspect of television exhibits, to a certain extent, a reliance on genre (Mittell, 2001). Industries rely on genre to produce programs, and audiences use genres as a means of organizing fan practices (Mittell, 2001). According to a 2006 Nelson Media Research study, ratings confirm that aside from prime time shows such as American Idol and Survivor, part time crime drama s have been classified as one of the most favoured genre (DeTardo Bora, pg. 154, 2009). Darrin Brown, Sharon Lauricella, Aziz Douai and Arshia Zaidi composed a study focusing on the uses and grats of the aforementioned genre as a means of better understanding the relationship between television and its audiences (Brown, Lauricella, Douai, Zaidi, 2000). Blumber and Katz s theory on uses and gratifications suggest that audience s choose to watch certain programs as it satisfies a particular need; in other words, people use a program to gratify or please themselves (Who Watches Crime Dramas and Why?, 2012). They identified four main uses and grats: entertainment and diversion, where there is an idea of escapism; surveillance and information, where people have an urge to become more knowledgeable in a particular area; personal identity, where there is a comparison between the characters and audience members; and finally, personal companionship, where audience s become involved with characters as if they were real (Who Watches Crime Dramas and Why?, 2012). The uses and Gratification theory assumes that audiences use mass media as an outlet for satisfying certain needs and desires (Brown, et. al, 2000). According to another group of scholars, the gratification individuals get when using such media are both social and psychological in nature (Brown, et. al, 2000). In ... The changes crucially influenced campaigning and combat in Europe during the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The most influential alterations included transformation in weapons, growth in the army size, change in tactics and organization, and centralization of the states bureaucracies. There were many battles in the late 17th and early 18th centuries that were highly influenced by the implications of the military revolution, for example, the Battles of Hogue, Danube, and Blenheim. These altercations started a development for military superiority and increased proficiency that enabled Europe to dominate the world long after the Wars of the Spanish Succession. However, I would like to emphasize that those victories mentioned above were heavily influenced by the skills of the commanding individuals and their roles in the military organizational system rather than a full internalization of the revolution s implications overall. The Duke of Marlborough is a great example of an individual overweighting the flaws of the late 17th century logistical systems to his advantage.
