THE RISING LYRICS: Mini Urban forest @ Ashok Nagar
•Recreated the concept of Mini-urban forest in the heart of the city of approx. 450’ length and 8’ width abutting a storm water
drain with approx. 120 different species housing an approx total of 2850 trees, shrubs and ground covers

and scenic views, provoking interest in any spectator in and outside the arena.

Aim of the project:
Defining Sustainability and evaluating parameters under each component of Sustainability (i.e.,
Economic, Social and Environmental) w.r.to the context of Urban poor (site specific) -
incorporating design principles w.r.to natural, physical and social domains; proposals, cost –
effective construction technologies, cost estimation, principles of local tradition and Architecture.
