2. Design proposal for Birley Fields (currently Birley Fields Campus MMU). The idea is to create a public space, which would be used by all sorts of resident in Hulme area.
My desidn is based on existing shapes- circles, squares; which mimic existing buildings. I put main focus on planting and solar energy (movable trees with trees made
of solar cells). Glass fountain is another feature to attract potential users. Colourful planting and variety of materials give the design live and positive energy.
3. Experimental project conducted in Reybank Fields, Manchester, Stretford. The aim of the
project is to check how plant species will mix over time.
Sketches for Humanities Essay: Exchange Square, Manchester.
4. Final year at MSA. Trafford park. Diverse Facilities for
Workers. Below drawings are representation of the
design process, which was conducted for 5 weeks
time.
1. Lines as connection between existing buildings.
2. Straight lines as connections between existing
buildings.
3. Vegetation to follow the lines.
4. Variety vegetation forms: straight, curvy, plain
(ruderal planting)
5. Detailed study of pavings.
6. AutoCad Plan.
7. Textures in each part of the design.

9. Water feature, which collects rain water and store it in the puddle.
The water can be used for watering plants during times with water shortage.
The feature is also the element of SUDs system. It uses water efficiently and is easy to maintain.
The aestethic aspect is also important, because it is interestiong and unusual so people use the space
with curiosity and enjoyment.
