1. In our short film there is only two of us in the crew this means that we have to
split the jobs roles and understanding what jobs fit are skills and personalities.
The first job role would be editing this process cosies of both of us, this includes
putting the footage together making sure the story fits together however the
editing will be different from each others as we need it to have different out
comes this means that we use different effects and transition, to make the short
film our own. We will use all the scenes that we shot for the past week and piece
together; playing around and deciding what shot looks better. Emmanuel and me
will compare the edited version of the short film this is so we can help each other
make the edited version the best to our ability.
In our short film Emmanuel and me will take turns being the production runner
this is because sometimes Emmanuel will be filming. This role is telling the
actors where to stand wand what to do when filming, letting them know what
camera too look out etc. further more we would have to remind the actors of the
script so they will rely on the runners to help them remember there word s and
stage directions.
I would be the director when filming, The reason why I would be the director is
because I know how I wont the film to be also because I am a very creative
person which means that I can change parts of the shots if I feel that another shot
type would make this particular scene more effective. Also I am a very confident
person that means that I can communicate with my crew and actors telling them
what to do and listening to any ideas they have to tell me. Lastly I am good
under pressure and I like to motivate people in to doing something to help boost
there confidence.
Emmanuel will be the camera crew, which means his in control of the cameras;
also he is good at listening to instructions so he can easily follow what his being
told. Furthermore Emmanuel is very creative as well and has a good imagination
this means that if he feels that there’s another position of the camera to go and
that will make the film more effective he will speak up and tell the director to
improve the shot type.
