2. What did I do?
◦ In the planning stage Tammy and I both discussed what the storyline would be. We also did a
storyboard which I drew the pictures for while Tammy did the writing. Another thing we did was
write a script which we did together, Tammy wrote the things she would say while I wrote the things
I would say. We thought this would be best due to improvising not being the best choice when
we're both not really confident actors.
◦ In the filming stage I was the interviewee and when Tammy was the only one in shot I did the
camera work. I think that I did quite well at this saying it was my first time working a camera for a
film and acting.
◦ In the editing stage me and Tammy took turns so we both had a part in the editing. I cut parts of
some of the shots out so they would flow into each other and deleted outtakes which we did not
need. I also did the music with Tammy and we both worked on the title screens together.
3. How flexible was I?
◦ I think I was very flexible for the filming stage because I have 2 free periods everyday
apart form Thursday, so it was very easy to organise when we could film outside of
lesson because Tammy and I have one free period together everyday.
◦ I also did not mind acting or being in control of the camera as long as it was suitable
for the storyline.
◦ Another reason I was flexible was because I was open to everybody’s ideas.
4. What skills have I gained from doing this?
◦ I have gained knowledge of how to set up a camera and tripod.
◦ Another thing I have learnt is to allocate roles to people and work as a team.
◦ Finally I have learnt how to use the editing software premier pro gaining knowledge
such as knowing how to cut a clip, add music and title screens and how to use filters
(however we did not use the filters to our full advantage).
5. Do I think I worked well as part of a group?
◦ I think that Tammy and I worked well a group because in the early stages of planning we
allocated roles so we knew exactly what we were doing. This meant that we did not waste
anytime during the filming process. Another reason I think that I worked well as a group was
I accepted Tammy’s idea during filming to film all my shot/reverse shots first and then to
record hers. This made the filming process much easier and also made it more likely that the
camera stayed at the same angle. So although we still had shots which were different to
the previous we tried our best to fix it during the filming stage.
◦ We also tried to help each other when one of us may have been stuck on something for
example deciding what to put on the opening and ending slides.
