1. Jenny Strand
I have been assigned the director and production runner when it comes to shooting our film. My
main roles being the director will be making sure the camera man knows things such as what angles
we need to be shooting from and when. I will be working close with the cameraman as they’ll need
my instruction to do things as otherwise they’ll be unaware. I’ll also have to work closely with actors
as well as I’m the production runner and they might need advice if they’re unsure on what to do, I’ll
be making sure the actors know things like what scene we’re doing and where they have to be
positioned etc. Being the production runner I will have to know what is going on at all times so I can
make sure everybody is ready and knows what to do. The same goes for being director I also have to
know all the angles we want the film shot from ad then overlook to see if it looks right. I then have
to edit the final draft our film, as do the others in the group.
The others in my group have been assigned job roles of cameraman and actors. Emily, Mark and
Jordan will be the actors, Ben, George and Jenny and Becky will be the cameraman. Becky will be
communicating with both the actors and me frequently so she can let the actors know if they’re in
the shot and me to see if it’s the right shot. They will also have to do their own edit of our film.
