2. Poster production
Firstly, to g et the photos f or my poster me and two of
my classmates went into the photography studio to
gather photos f or the poster and some of the photos
we took on that are showcased on this slide. T o g et
certain photos, the way I wanted it we had to use the
lig hting eq uipment so we could make them suit the
theme of the project.
And another reason that we did this is because we
had soft box lig hts so we could have certain lig hting
f or certain shots to create a tone. Aswell as using
landscape to tak e the photos so we could capture
within the shot.
Aswell as we had to book the studio week s in
advance so we could mak e sure no one would come
in the studio and stop us in the studio when we were
doing are photoshoot.
3. Rough sketch ideas
This photo here is a rough sketch of what I hoped my poster
would look like when I put it in photoshop and with the final
product I also added abit more features to make this poster
seem abit more interesting or just tried to make the poster the
best it good to the best of my ability.
But I also had to tweak certain things within the final product
to make it more appealing or up to my higher standards. And
so, I could make the poster more present with my
audience. And I took into mind that I might not achieve what
I wanted to originally with my sketch so that’s one thing I had
to take into mind when making the design.
4. Resources that I used
The main resource that I used when creating my poster was photoshop mainly and this was
how I could put all my photos together and add other things onto them like logos and text
and remove things that weren’t supposed to be in the poster. Such as objects that I forgot
to see when taking the photo and photoshop was a really good resource to use to vut out
objects.
I used other websites called dafont what were used to get
certain fonts I wanted to use on the text within my poster to
add abit more life to it or give them a more unique feel and
differentiate from other posters my classmates have created.
Obviously, the main thing we had to use was a camera
more specifically the canon 1200ad as in my opinion it
had the best quality out of the cameras I had at my
disposable and to be honest it got the job done and it
was up to my standards.
5. Podcast production
When creating the podcast, I decided to do this podcast with four of my
classmates. With the plan being that I would interview two of my
classmates with the other one being controlling the audio making sure
we were all on level and making sure everything went smoothly and
that they weren’t being too loud or to quiet.
Aswell as I said about the photography studio on how we had to book
that weeks in advance, we had to do the same with the recording
studio. So, we could use the zoomH6 mic as it had the best quality for
all the mics, we had at are arsenal.
6. Resources that we used
When recording are podcast, we used all the equipment with the
photos you on here and I'm going to explain on individually what we
used each equipment.
When using the Zoom H6 audio recorder we made sure before
pression record on the recorder that all the volume and mics were
tuned in on the right level, and we used this equipment with the
Sennheiser 400s headphones so the person who was controlling the
audio could hear what the audio was like and tell us if it was too loud
or to quiet.
When it came to using are microphone Rode NT2-A condenser mic,
as it had the best quality for are voice and again, we had to think
about the person who was controlling the audio as these mics made
sure that the person who was controlling the audio had an easier job.
7. Video production
Now onto the main part of this project is the promotional video. Now when I set out to make this video, I
wanted to touch upon a couple different things I wanted to show. Such as, things lik e getting active can
be accomplished by doing many things cheap or expensive. But also show clearly what my target audience
being to 16–19-year-olds, So that’s why I decided to use my brother f or my promotional video so it could
make the audience relate more and see abit more of themselves in and understand the message I was
trying to get across.
But one of the hardest things about the production was mainly scheduling f ilming dates f or when people
would be f ree to f ilm, But clearly as I'm making this PowerPoint That everything came together. But had to
make sure the weather was right f or scene, and this time of year that task can be very hard to accomplish.
As well as making sure that we took normal people into account and had to make sure that we got their
permission f or them to be in the background of our video, so I want putting them on my college project
without their permission.
8. As with the other slides I have shown you on this one I am going to show all
the resources that we used on the video which is where most of resources
went into.
Let's get the obvious out of the way that we used premier pro to edit are
videos and add effects add filters, and that ties in as we used them on are
college computers, as that was the only resource, I had what I could use
premier pro on, and it got the job done to my high standards and edited it
to the best of my ability.
Instead of using a camera like a traditional canon 1200ad I used my iPhone
11 what from eyes had as much quality as a normal canon camera. As well
as my phone I used google drive on my phone so I could transport them to
google drive on my phone and log into my account on the college computer
and import them into the computer then import them to premier pro to get
it ready to edit.
Resources we used for the video
9. Gantt chart
We used this Gantt chat to track my
progress so I know were abouts I'm up to
in my project and so I know were I'm up
to in my project and how close I am to
the end and what slide I'm up to on a
PowerPoint. Buts that’s why we have
weeks at the top off the Gantt chart
labeled from week 1 to 8 to help more
with keeping track of work.
