THE OVERVIEW AND SCRIPT OF THE FILM
STORYBOARD SCENE 1
Here I accessed storyboard where I created
the first scene of my horror movie which was
where the haunted, possessed clown had
come back alive from the dead to avenge his
death and kill the teens who put him in that
grave. This is why I had a graveyard and a dug
up coffin with nothing in it as the clown has
now come back alive and escaped and also
because it is a mystery the camera has
zoomed in to get a close up of the empty
grave for suspense. As well as that, the
headstones and statues are grey and dark as it
resembles the horrid weather with the heavy
rain and dark clouds. Also, the statues look
scared and sad as they correlate with how the
film will plan out to be which will be dark, evil
and scary. Also, the heavy dark grey type rain
give a sense how the movie will unfold and
how it is going to be very haunted and
frightening. The text at the bottom is red for
the readers to see and so it stands out to
them as that text is describing each scene
which has been pictured.
STORYBOARD SCENE 2 On this slide here I have put in the bubble 10
years earlier which will be zoomed into from
above and will have the camera focus on the
ball as it is dropping from the air where the
camera will swoop down and reverse its
angle and focus on the kids and pitch. As
well as that they are all smiling and enjoying
life as they are young and they are enjoying
their summer holidays laughing, smiling and
playing football together. The bubble with 10
years earlier shows that this was before they
killed the clown which would scar their
memories for the rest of their lives. As well
as that, the clown is hiding and lurking
around the football pitch as you see in the
next slide and how he followed ben back to
his house to get revenge.
STORYBOARD SCENE 3
This is where everything changed for ben’s
life forever. The clown had followed and
stalked him back to his house and when ben
realised he quickly ran in to get a sharp
kitchen knife to protect himself. The clown
wanted to take everything from ben as he
had seen all the wealth and joy which was in
his life but instead lived to regret this by
getting murdered by the boy whom which he
wanted to rob. But was this the right call
which Ben had made or was he going to
regret this near in the future. The camera
then starts to zoom in on the trickling blood
and slowly creeps up with suspenseful music
on to then get a shot of Ben’s horrified look
as he is terrified with the actions he has just
took to kill the clown.
STORYBOARD SCENE 4 Here on this slide Ben is still taking in
what he has just done and as he is
contemplating what to do he turns
around to then realise the clown is not
dead as he is gone. The only thing left is a
puddle of blood left from the clown. But
where has he vanished to? The blood
effects show that he was there and he got
splattered but now he has gone and the
facial expressions of Ben show how
serious and scared he is now. The camera
angle then starts to go around his head
and close up to his face as he starts to
breakdown and stress as the sweat of fear
on his face starts to trickle down his face
as then he realises as he turns back
around that the clown is still alive and has
vanished and then the camera faces its
direction to the blood and zoomz in as
more horror , suspenseful music is
playing.
STORYBOARD SCENE 4
This shows now that two weeks later he has
left the past events behind and he is now
enjoying life as he is getting ready to go on a
day trip with his friends to take his minds of
the events which have occurred. He is in his
room getting dressed and ready to go out in
this nice Summers day. The camera starts to
creep up slowly towards his door at the
beginning of the scene and ends up getting a
close up of his disturbed face has he is still
also reminisceing the death of the clown. But
then as the car is leaving and the clown is
sneaking behind the vehicle. The part of the
clown sneaking up is a point of view shot
where it is as if the viewer were looking
through the eyes of a specific character.
STORYBOARD SCENE 5
On this slide here it is showing that the friends
have realised that there car has ran out of fuel
and need to stop of at a fuel station which they
see a few miles ahead from them before they run
out completely and cant get to it. But however,
Ben is still scared and worried to what is going to
happen and what consequences will occur from
this awful murder which they have committed.
The camera is fixated to his face as suspenseful
music starts to begin as sweat trickles very slowly
down his face as Ben is terrified and still shocked
to what crime he has just committed.
STORYBOARD SCENE 6
This is the scene of where they go to this pure
innocent looking church to then get there and
find evil within it as it has the sinister looking
clown buried alive in the graveyard to which they
don’t know and are surprised to find. As they
silently creep slowly down the ancient, spiralled
path someone extrodinally jumps out at them
from the graves. But who is this haunted and evil
person.
STORYBOARD SCENE 7
As everyone starts to get stuck in and
attack the clown Ben starts to walk away
unusually and doesn’t help but why? Is
there something he is hiding. But then the
camera zooms in on ben as he comes from
a different angle to then he says sorry for
running off because he panicked but really
it is because he is the possessed clown.
STORYBOARD ENDING SCENE
Now comes the finale as they are all
laughing joking as they have got revenge
on the clown and start to walk away back
towards the haunted church to get their
car and leave for home. But however
Ben then decides to turn around towards
the camera which the camera zoomed
into the face to capture his cunning, evil
smile as they walk away and then the
screen turns black to finish off with a
exciting cliff hanger to make the readers
and viewers thirsty for more action.
