2. • Digipak is a patented style of CD, DVD or BD packaging,
and is a registered trademark of AGI-Shorewood, an
Atlas Holdings LLC company. Digipaks typically consist
of a gatefold (book-style) paperboard or card stock outer
binding, with one or more plastic trays capable of holding
a CD or DVD attached to the inside.
3. • Every music genre has its own representation, in different
forms. The most indispensable representation is of the
color scheme and the images used in every music
related product (Magazine, Poster, Website, Digipak,
etc.). The same goes with the digipak. I have shown a
comparison between the digipaks of the bands, Dream
Theater, Nickelback, Entity Paradigm, Avenged
Sevenfold and Pantera in next slides.
4. • The color scheme of this digipak is purple, blue, black
and red. The main image delineate the title of the
album “When Dream And Day Unite”. The main image
shows that a person is sleeping and dreaming in the
daylight.

digipak is black, grey and
natural colors. The title of
the album is Photograph
and the very first image
depicts it. The main image is
about a person playing the
guitar.
8. • The color scheme of this
digipak is red, black and
white. The main image is an
art work but not an original
photo. The cover of the
album depicts a sketch of an
unborn baby. The cover
shows that this album talks
about progress in life as the
literal meaning of Irtiqa is
progress or evolution. I
found it as a totally different
concept.
10. • The color scheme of this digipak is green, orange,
black, blue and yellow. The main image is an animated
image. A destruction is shown in the photo. The art
work is totally divergent from the other examples.
14. • Each of the digipak is
different from each other,
while they all belong to the
rock bands. Dream Theater
and Nickelback have used
the main image of a
person, whereas, E.P and
Avenged Sevenfold have
used the art work and
Pantera have used an
image of a snake.
