DOES JESUS CARE?
1. Does Jesus care when my heart is pained, to deeply for mirth and
song;
As the burdens press, and the cares distress and the way grows weary and
long?
CHORUS:
Oh yes, He cares I know he cares! His heart is touched with
My grief; when the days are weary,
The long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares. (He cares.)
2. Does Jesus care when my way is dark, with nameless
dread and fear?
As the day light fades into deep night shades, does he care
Enough to be near?
3. Does Jesus care when I’ve said goodbye, to the dearest on earth to
me, and my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks’, is it ought to him?
Does He see?
WHEN THE ROLL IS CALLED UP YONDER
1. When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and times shall be no
more, and the morning breaks, eternal and fear; when the saved of
earth shall gather over on the other shore, and the roll is called up
yonder, I’ll be there.
CHORUS:
When the roll is called up yonder, when the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder, when the roll is called up yonder,
I’ll be there.
2. On the bright and cloudiness morning, when the dead Christ shall
rise, and the glory of his resurrection share; when his chosen ones
shall gather, to their home beyond the skies, and the roll is called
up yonder, I’ll be there.
3. Let us labor for the master, from the dawn till setting sun, let us
talk of his wondrous love and care, then when all of life is over,
and our work on earth is done, and the roll is called up yonder I’ll
be there.
