NAAC-2015
1.1-Curriculum planning and implementation:
 Department of bioinformatics running from 2008 with three-year
Graduation course B.Sc. Bioinformatics with the support of
department of zoology, and at current session 2020-21 department
have 156 students. In every year (IstIIndand IIIrd) student’s studies two
paper of related subject of bioinformatics which is part of
curriculum designed by Government of higher education Bhopal. A
minor project is also part of Curriculum in Third year of course.
1.2-Academic Flexibility:-
 This college provide academic flexibility to students in the form of
choosing subject combination wise which provide a great freedom to
students according to their interest. At current bioinformatics can be
choose by the students in form od two combination. One is
Bioinformatics-zoology-chemistry and second is bioinformatics-
pharmaceutical chemistry-zoology.
NAAC-2015
1.3-Curriculum Enrichment:-
 As current scenario great research demands involvement of
latest technique in field of research. B.Sc. Bioinformatics is
affiliated by Vikram University and before 2017 syllabus of three
year curriculum designed by Vikram university but from 2017 to
till now Bioinformatics syllabus designed by Government higher
education which is uniformly following by entire Madhya Pradesh
colleges.
1.4-Feedback system:
 Our department following a state forward feedback system which
helps us to improv our department facilities and requirements.
This type of feedback system can be online or in the form of
parent teacher meetings face to face.
NAAC-2015
 2.1- Student enrolment and profile:
 We followsa open and fair admission system which follow entire admission policy
and reservation policy designed by Madhya Pradesh government. Entire admission
process based on the merit list designed by the Madhya Pradesh higher education
admission cell on the bases on high secondary percentage as well as reservation
policy.
2.1-Catering to student diversity:
 Every year after the completion of admission process our college organize a open
induction program, the main aim of this induction program is to provide
information to students related to schemes and supporting cells running by the
government as well as college.
 College also provide remedials classed for students for there better performance
and learning.
2.2-Teaching learning process:
 We follow a academic plan provided by the Vikram university, which provide
academic calendar time to time for internal examination, Practical examination as
well as yearly and semester examination.
 We are following yearly system in which July month assume as the new session
and approximately mid-April assumes to be final examination month.
 We also arrange a special lecture for the students which delivers by the invited
experts.
 We have in-silico laboratory for the students in which 13 powerful system placed
with 100mbps internet speed, which helps students for their practical work as well
help them toconnect with entire world.

 Our college provide time to time test process for evaluation of students and helps
us to identify the students where they are lack behind. For their better
performance and growth extra classes are provided by college.
2.6-Student satisfaction survey:
 At department level we do not follow any student satisfaction survey but college
apply a common student satisfaction survey by the various platform like as google
form.
 3.1-Resource mobilization for research:
 Our college have common research committee which deals collaboration with
Vikram university. In bioinformatics department on graduation level curriculum
have a minor project for B.Sc. III year students in which we provide a good
research environment for students by which they can use this knowledge for their
higher studies.
NAAC-2015
 3.2 Innovation Ecosystem:
 For minor research project we force students to complete their project form
department, we try to provide best research environment and try to solve all their
problems. In additional if they require any support department always take a lead
step for it.

 4.4 Maintenance of campus infrastructure:
 Time to time college provided funds for maintaining the infrastructure of
department which robust the facilities.
NAAC-2015
 5.1 Students support:
 Department have student support and mentoring system in which each student is
directly contact with faculty staff, we try to provide all possible helps as much as
can be.
 College also have a common carries counselling cell which time to time organize
arrange lectures for students for their carrier and jobs.
 At every year our college also arranges a carries mela in which many companies
recruit students from our college.
 5.2 Student progression:
 At every year our pass out students placed in jobs and many goes for the
preparation of higher education. We assess it my maintaining the record of placed
students which have completed their graduation
 5.3 Students participation and activities:
 College provides facilities for the sport activities so each studenthaveget
opportunities to take participation and many students reach at state and national
level.
 Every year college publish a book name pragya, in which each student can publish
their written article, poem.
NAAC-2015
NAAC-2015
 6.1 Institutional vision and leadership:
 We are witnessing the new era of biology and medicine, where today we find that
for every problem and aim do not provide us same time for solution so that at
current we need new computation technique which can be implement in biology
for reducing the time limit. We know involvement of bioinformatics in biomedical
research lead to understand detailed study of thousands of genes, their
expression, interaction and also for targeting the function which may be help in
therapeutics.

 6.2 Strategy Development and deployment:
 In this college B.Sc. Bioinformatics are being run for fulfilment of aim which
provide a platform to students specially biology stream to grow up and develop
their brain to take a step in their higher education and research. Those students
who pass out will have many options for higher study like M.Sc. and Ph.D. as well
as job opportunities in various fields. At level of higher education many
specializations can be peruse like data mining, genomic architecture, metabolic
computing and genomics circuits. These various specializations open new job
opportunities in Indian as well as abroad.
 6.3 Faculty Empowerment strategies:
 From initiation our department always try to development by the different type of
programs like faculty development program.
NAAC-2015
 6.4 Financial management and resource mobilization:
 Our college follow a common financial management system
which is common among departments, for management and
financial demand fulfilled by the that authorized body. After
every 5 year college go through a financial audit.
 6.5 Internal quality assurance system (IQAS):
 At every 5 year college go through a assessment which is done
by the NAAC last assessment was on 2015. All the naac related
work like quality improvement, system mechanism control,
demand and supply, how to increase student growth, policy for
the administrative and academic departments all entire work
done and measure by internal quality assurance system.
NAAC-2015
 7.1 Institutional values and social responsibility:
 college playing very important role for sensitizing students to their moral
responsibility as well as encouraging them to take participate in social services
like tree plantation, joining yoga classes, energy saving habit.
 In the field of green and energy conservation our institute also have a committee
for green audit which helps us to implement good habits towards saving energy
and conserve the green environment.
7.2 Best practices:
 We provide a healthy environment where students learns what is their social
responsibilities toward college, family, society and nature. Our aim to motivate
them towards protect the nature, plantation, energy saving habits and take
participation in different activity which grow them as a social and responsible
person.
 Software development is a central part of bioinformatics, spanning the gamut of
activities including data transformation, scripting, workflows, statistical analysis,
data visualization, and the implementation of core analytical algorithms. However,
despite the critical and far-reaching nature of this work, there is a high degree of
variability in the quality of bioinformatics software tools being developed,
reflecting a broader trend across all scientific disciplines.
NAAC-2015
 Bioinformatics tools and resources but also to understand their
underlying fundamental theoretical and practical concepts. Providing
bioinformatics training to empower life scientists to handle and analyse
their data efficiently, and progress their research, is a challenge across
the globe. Delivering good training goes beyond traditional lectures and
resource-centric demos, using interactivity, problem-solving exercises
and cooperative learning to substantially enhance training quality and
learning outcomes.
7.3 Institutional Distinctiveness:
 Our aim is to mould and empower students in the pursuit of knowledge,
values and social responsibility and help them achieve excellence in
various fields, thereby also preparing them to face global challenges.
The Institution as never lack behind in Inspiring the students in the
pursuit of knowledge, values, and social responsibility. The Institute has
established its distinctive approach towards this comprehensive Vision
by modelling it in the form of service to the society, by means of
certificate courses or by allowing the students to organize events to
develop their skills, multidisciplinary project development,
Entrepreneurship development, Ethical and Human value development.
