• The Industry satisfaction is low mainly because the
trainees don’t know exactly what is required of them.
• This can be attributed to the low interaction of
students with the corporates
• So inviting people from the corporate world to the
campus and interacting with them will help the
students in understanding what is required of them
4. Competitions
• Industry players/ companies can hold various
intercollege competitions to gauge the
intelligence/skills of the students
• Alternately, Companies can offer interviews for jobs
to the winners of these competitions
• The competition can have participants participating
in teams. This will help a student become a team
player
5. Counseling
• Students can be counseled and directed towards a
particular course of his liking.
• Many a times, students don’t know of their liking in a
particular subject. It is only through counseling that
the student can be made aware of it.
• This will help in students choosing the field where
they would like to work.
6. Assigning students responsibilities
• Students can be assigned certain tasks related to the
administration of the college
• This will help the student in decision making.
• It will develop the overall personality of the student.
7. Allocating a semester for project
• An entire semester can be allocated to working on
real life projects from Industries.
• Working on a real life project will give the students
relevant experience.
• Just learning concepts from textbooks never helps in
actual world. It is only after a student applies that
concept then he/she can effectively contribute.
8. Guest Lectures
• Guest lecturers from the corporate can be called to
the institute and the lecturer can talk on the
applications of the concept taught in the college.
• Question and answer session will help in solving any
doubts
9. Improving Syllabus
• If any new concept or technology comes up in the
industry then that should be taught to students
• Many a times, the syllabus is old and the concepts are
not used in the Industry
• So the syllabus should be checked and improved
yearly
