2. INT. – LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
A living room is filled with dead bodies either on the floor or on the
sofas. There are balloons everywhere. In the background you hear
eighties style funk music playing from an iPod docking station. You
hear loud screaming in the background, which is then muffled.
The screaming eventually dies out. A man in a mask is revealed
standing over a dead body at the back of the room with a knife in it. He
is panting for his breath and pulls the knife out of the dead body
confidently, tossing up in the air and then grabbing it before
sitting down on a single chair next to him. He then sits and stares
at the bodies for a while whilst taking his mask off.
We are then shown the face of the man in the mask that has
proceeded to smoke the cigarette in his hand. He looks very
confident if not arrogant seemingly pleased with what he has
done. He however does not look relaxed as if he has not finished
(as he sees it) his task. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a
mobile phone and dials a number on it putting it to his ear.
(Calm and collected manner) Murderer: Police please. (9) Yes,
there has been a murder. Parkwright Avenue, first house on the right.
(2) There are about 5 to 8 I think, I lost count. There were at a party,
they were quite the popular bunch. You know, these were the sort o
people that if you disliked you would not have an easy life. They were
involved with someone they didn’t to be honest. They thought not
even God could touch them. It was unfortunate that they thought
wrong. They have come to violent death in one of there happiest
moments. But do know what’s the most interesting it? They deserved
it. Sharply puts phone down
The murderer then stands up and walks calmly but confidently towards
the sofa directly opposite him. He takes his cigarette and puts into the
open mouth of one of the dead bodies. He has a slight chuckle to himself
in a dark manner. He then puts on his mask and walks out of the house.
You can see him walking past the window afterwards.
