Here is the recce for our two audio adverts.

1. Recce
Location: Art Room
We picked this location for one of the sound clips at the start of the Lower School advert as
we needed paint brushes and a sink to create the desired sound so it made sense to film the
audio where all the equipment would be.
Location: Common Room
This location is for the Sixth Form advert as we wanted realistic chattering to capture what
it’s like in the common room so we’ll be recording the background noise for the vox pop
here.

2. Location: Library
The library is another location where we’re going to be filming one of the audio clips for the
start of the Lower School advert and we will only be filming a short clip and don’t want any
background sound but we’re filming here for the authenticity and because we’ll need books.
Location: Courts
Again, the location of one of our Lower School advert audio clips where we want to have the
running, shouting and ball sounds that you’d find in a sport like netball so we thought here
would be the easiest place to replicate these noises as we will have the space to do so.

3. Location: Outside
The audio we’re going to film here is just general noise and commotion of the school when
everyone’s out and about and I think it’ll end up in the Lower School advert if we do use it
but we thought it would be a good idea to have spare audio like this in case any parts of the
advert sound sparse or we change our minds slightly so we don’t have to go out and shoot
twice.
Location: RSR Room
This is where we will do the majority of our audio recording for both adverts as they both
include a decent amount of voice overs and this room is relatively sound proofed as it is
used for our school radio shows so we will be able to film the audio without disruption or
background noise.
