Editor's Notes
Welcome to Fourth Grade! I’m Mrs. Lamberth and I’m Mrs. Wilson. Please read each side as well as listen as we tell you a little about this year.
We are looking forward to a rockin’ good year! Fourth Grade is a time that students must become more responsible for their work habits.
In the packet you receive tonight, there are several important forms and information. Please read this information and sign and return forms with the folder on the first day of school.
Attendance is very important. Every time your child is absent, tardy, or check out, they miss classwork and instruction. If your child must be absent, the office must have a written excuse within 3 days of returning to school. All work must be made up within these 3 days as well. Any missing work after this time will result in a zero.
Students will receive a planner, in which they are responsible for writing their own homework assignments. It is very important that students do and turn in homework and classwork when it is due.
Should a student choose to disobey the rules, their name will be recorded in the conduct book. On Mondays, the conduct folder will go home with the previous week’s conduct grade. The fourth grade information booklet contains details on consequences and rewards.
We participate in the AR program. Some grades will be given from the comprehension of AR tests.
Students will be allowed to eat a snack while working in the morning class. Students are not allowed to take snacks to the next class. Only clear, non-flavored water is allowed for drinks to prevent ants after possible spills.
Students are only allowed to bring what is needed for school. Items that take away from teaching and learning will be taken up by the teacher.
We are excited about a great year! Get plenty of rest and be ready to work on Monday!
