Kelsi Phillips teaches preschoolers at a school in Boonsboro, Maryland and is studying Elementary Education. She enjoys summer and prefers warm weather to snow. Purple is her favorite color as it sits between blue and red/pink. Faith, family, and friends provide Kelsi with support and are central aspects of her life.

2. Children I work at a preschool in Boonsboro, Maryland where I teach young children that are on their way to kindergarten. I have about 15 students. Because of my passion for children, I am majoring in Elementary Education.

3. SUNSHINE I love the summer time. Right now it’s snowing in Huntington, and I’d much rather be where it’s warm.

4. Purple Purple is my favorite color. Somebody asked me why once, and I said, “Because it’s not blue, and it’s not red or pink, it just sits comfortably somewhere in the middle. …I guess.”

5. Faith, family, and friends These three elements in my life keep me going. They are my stronghold and are there for me no matter what.
